Especially with this Covid-19, lost all gigs, staying home woodshedding bass more than ever. I;ve read where many bought this pedal and sent it back saying, doesn't track well at all, useless sounds, requires very tight, single notes, no slurrs, sliding, only works well with exp pedal. etc. You seem to have gotten a decent sound(s) out of it just flicking thru the settings knobs as one would have to, to get familiar with it. Yeah, I have one of five bands that I do use my bass effects pedals in. Well, as of now, no bands are giggin or rehearsing of course, so I have time to play with it. My Zoom MS-60b(?) pedal seems to have many of these tones in it. Just dont use it much anymore and I mostly keep it on 1 or 2 drive tones so as not to flip thru alot of clicks to find tones I want. After many years of owning that Zoom pedal, I still not sure how to get to all the different effects quickly, easily. That's more on me. ;>) But this EHX Mono Synth keys in on those bass effects only that go to that tone one might want, need for a synth-like tone. What the hell, stuck at home, its' not as pricey as the SA-C4 pedal I'm also researching. The EHX is well priced at about $123.00 and seeing some better lower prices on used/B stock models now. Must be those that were returned by certain cats, lol. I think I'll order one and see if I can make it work as well as you did here. peace, e.
Yup, got about $20 off. I messed with it a couple hours first time. Prolly need to spend more time with it but so far not alot of sounds I would use. But again, more practice with it needed. For what it does, so far, it may of limited use to me. peace, e.
So what would you say would be the BEST buy between this synth and the EH synth 9 pedal???...also Mooer has a pretty kewl little synth pedal thats more affordable ....SO i am in a quandry as to what to buy....and on top of all that there is the EH Micro Synth pedal.....HELP!!!!!!....HAHAHAHA
You have a lot of options there, for my money I would probably go with the Mooer pedal. But anything is better than the alternative. Good luck and have fun!
@@SteveTheBassGuy so in your video, the sound comes from an expression pedal as well, if you use the Electro harmonix synth pedals without expression pedal : can you still get same great effect sound in your videos??
@@stevewindsenergy I am not using it in the video, I use it once in a while on gigs. It’s not the most user friendly part of the product. If you are looking to real adjust the effect on the job it may not be the best choice.Please remember to like and subscribe

ernieD its a decent pedal, price was a bit steep, for what it is. I tend to use it sparingly most times. But it’s fun when I do use it. Good luck.
