  • I rode the Portsmouth Unit with a fun trail called Drag Line and part of the Mahnomen Unit where the Switchback trails are.

Thanks for the reminder man! I find myself wanting more gnar instead of keeping in mind its more about getting out, getting my heart pumping and enjoying the ride. Cheers!

Glad to hear your take on riding styles. Fast is fun, but slow and steady let's you enjoy the sights. It's great to ride both ways.!

impressive! beautiful trails and solid riding, brother. you and your channel have inpired me to push myself past the negative place i was in and get to the step in my personal development. thanks for that. i'll be 57 in august and i also grew up with bmx being my life, it's easy to relate. the upbeat, loving energy creators as yourself exist in, has a positive effect on anyone that lets it. keep being you, Shad!🧡

Cool! I’m here all week. I plan on doing the part you did in this video, Yawkey, and Sagamore. Already hit most of Mahnomen South yesterday.

Definitely ride Bison Run in Sagamore. It's my favorite trail there!

@@ShadLife You were right! Great trail. My favorite so far as well. Just the right amount of tech sections. Those rock gardens were pretty spicy wet today.

Thanks for doing these videos of Cuyuna. Going up there in August for a week and your videos have helped me determined which trails to ride. Any kid friendly trails you suggest. Would be taking a 7 year old on them.

Galloping Goose from the Ride Center trailhead I rode through in this video. There is a small skills area at the far end of the parking lots and more green, blue, and black skills stuff up the hill next to it.

Have you rode the connector trail to the town of Cuyuna or Cruser Kettle trails?

Many times, but not this trip. The connector trail doesn't dry out very quickly and it's been constant on off rain all weekend. Cruser's Kettle got a bunch of tornado damage recently.
