Starship Trooper was recorded long before the first Star Wars movie, and long before Paul Verhoeven's Starship Troopers movie (based on book by Robert A. Heinlein, 1959, I loved his books). Early seventies science fiction was a great source of inspiration (scifi literature as well after the lunar landing in 1969). If this is from Yes Symphonic in Amsterdam, early 2000's, eight row I think but cannot find me on the footage. Keyboard player in Amsterdam was Tom Brislin, who is now in the band Kansas.
There is no one on this planet like Yes… from yesterday and today. They are timeless. Just genius. I’m a new subscriber. I really enjoyed you enjoying my favorite band of all time!! Much love from Southern California ♥️
I recommend listen to Yes' version of Simon and Garfunkel's America. Insane playing by Steve Howe and Rick Wakeman. Glad you like Yes and you have so much pleasure to come. Carry on the enjoyment.
Another really cool song by Yes is "Close To The Edge". Despite the not-so-great audio and video quality, I like this version: ruclips.net/video/SDdy1IrklYc/видео.html quite like. Have fun.
This 1985 performance of the song is my favorite by far, very energetic. It gets very loud and wild from the middle to the end! ruclips.net/video/zpDF2M7n3gM/видео.html
For me, the best live version of this song has to be the Lugano 2004 one. First of all, Rick Wakeman is in the lineup and Steve Howe’s solo at the end is superior to this one.
YES❣️❣️❣️The greatest band on this or any other planet❗️❗️❗️🪐🪐🪐🎵🎼🎶🔈🔉🔊😎

A lot of old fans don't like their newer stuff. I grew up with them and still really like "90215".
Ohh
@@HEDoubleX Newer is relative. 1983. More like different.
