Even as I write this message, tons of cocaine are moving around the world to reach their customers. The issue is never Escobar, the issue is that state administrators are secret Escobars. Remember, everyone has a price..

Advertisers don't want to be "canceled" bc their ad is shown on a video with "offensive" content. So RUclips restricts and demonitizes anything people complain about. It's absolutely ridiculous. It was supposed to be a platform for everyone to say what they want, now it's more censored than actual television.

With the exportation of cocaine, Pablo could have been very powerful on the world-wide stage & I suspect this was a motivating factor for the US. It wasn't a war on drugs, but the fear of losing control.

Very well done documentary actually probably one of the best narrated and cinematic visually I've seen in many years! One bit of advice for the translation in a few parts is that the volume and the voice over done simultaneously can be hard to understand as the latin is as loud if not slightly louder than the English interpretation unfortunately, otherwise outstanding production of the facts and details of that time!

Great documentary on Pablo lifestyle. This one is up there with a lot of other great videos I have seen on Pablo. The only thing I disagree with is the guy @ 45 minutes, telling how he killed Pablo. People who were actually there said, “ he came out of the window trying to escape but found himself in a shoot out.”. There are also footage of this one army guy in a car who had seen Pablo first and called it in. Great video tho.

Truth is Pablo although a ruthless man who killed with no regard for those who got in the way he kept that dark aspect of the drug trade at bay as well as one can and he had a level of control that had authorities taken a different approach and our governments been more honest letting the fact that drugs will always be here and readily available some kind of partnership could have been could have been sought between the two sides so that Pablo could run the drug trade with less murder and terrorizing of people and the government could have got their kick backs

What a crazy place not all but many people are out to find ways to scam you out of as many pesos as possible. Tried the airbnb in 3 different locations one infested with cockroach the other was threaten by the host son in the next apt for complaining about the music at 3am 5-6 nights a week and the last was a total scam listed an address for a decent location apt. but was brought to a completely different address at the time of checking in. Not to mention being ripped off by almost all the taxi drivers and short changed by many vendors. Sept. 12, 2023 to mid Oct. 2023.
