The book The Accountant's Story was written by Roberto Escobar, Pablo's brother. As the title suggests, he was in charge of the money for the family biz. But what was really amazing was what he wrote about their lives growing up. He was the athlete, with a bicycle racing team, and tried to build a biz around that; while Pablo dreamed of power and said as a child that he wanted to be President of Columbia someday.
Reminds me of the The House of Versace book written by a business journalist. It was so interesting showing how the siblings worked together behind the scenes. Their eldest brother was how you described the accountant - the level headed one

Even though the town is profitting off his images, I say good for them! Let them have a little fun & enjoyment off his images/likeness/history. If it keeps feeding the town, let them do that. But don't look at the people the way you would Escobar. Mos tof the population hated him just as much. But as the documentary said, many were forced to like him or they would die. The town is full of people just trying to survive now, albeit off his history.
