Our Kite Life Hey you’re right, I was joking with SloMoBoarding 😜! I was riding with 13-14 knots also with a 17m and it felt like SloMoBoarding 😜! You have to go to Canary Islands between Mai-September, there you have very nice Spots .....Fuerteventura is like the Caribbean but with many wind or Gran Canaria there you have Playa la Vargas with the best wind (every day with 25-30 knots) and water conditions after Cape Town, but the beach is ugly in course of stones!) If you come y will be your guide if you want 😉🤙🏾
If you’d offer a group kite surf vacation to your subscribers, count me in! I’m stuck in Colorado and struggle finding locations and people to travel with to kite. I’m not very good and finding instructors is such a hassle. I’m just sayin!! ;)
Thanks! We stayed with CKSS who organized the trip. You can rent this house though directly through the property management company, Surf or Sound Realty. It's called "La Familia". That being said, construction on a new bridge in Rodanthe has begun, which may make this house/beach unkiteable... :(
Flysurfer kites have been sold in Canada for over a decade. Believe it or not, Toronto has a huge foil kite scene. Most of the people at our local beach fly Flysurfer Souls and Sonics 2
Laurie, is the perfect woman, in attitude, in morals, in integrity and in her beauty... there I said it. Oh come on.... like I am the only one thinkin this...yuri scored the find of a life time.
Okay, I had to do the conversion ; ) so that was about 68F. Not bad. I was just rafting in water at 60F with a one mil suit on and I was fine. I am used to diving in 86F water with just a skin or free diving for a couple hours without anything in water around or a little above that temp. I ask because I am wanting to take kiting lessons and was thinking of going out to Hatteras. Wondered what sort of wetsuit if any, I should bring. I have to realize that it is not the Caribbean. Thanks!

We did not take any chances for next spring, we reserved a house in Salvo but not sound front anymore :(

Hey 20-25 knots is our favourite ...but we rarely get that. Gotta make the most of the light wind we do get :)

that beach is too shallow for hydrofoil. There are deeper places, you just need walk further out into the sound. Tons of hydrofoilers in the OBX
