What I love about Ben Stillers parodies, is he really encapsulates the thing he is doing, and gets all the little nuances you might not get unless you really remember the material. This and the Few Good Scouts, and Die Hard were just so fuckin brilliant
This was the most underrated show of all time. It's sad not too many people know about how genius this comedy is. I still watch the ben stiller show 30 years later. Hilarious writing, Bob Odenkirk at his finest and really the whole cast went on to be successful in spite of fox's stupid decision to cancel the show. It's akin to when snl fired the late norm macdonald ..who is another legend in comedy.
Janeane Garofalo perfectly captures the mannerisms of Juliette Lewis from the original movie. Also, Ben Stiller took De Niro's accent from the movie perfectly as well.

That was good; when I first saw this back 30-odd years ago, I hadn't seen the awful remake of Cape Fear yet; it deserves this, deserves to be mocked. Done really well here.
