***** It's Wraithguard (a gauntlet). Wielding either Keening or Sunder without Wraithguard will eventually kill you without seriously breaking the game (they deal as much as 125 damage per second to you while you hold them).
The best part about this? This is entirely lore friendly. Keening, the weapon being used to perform the glitch, is one of Kagrenac's tools, used by the Tribunal to literally make themselves living gods. Using it to phase through walls and fly around sounds pretty tame in comparison, huh?
No thanks Lorkan was a Padhomaic entity and a symbol of change, it can be argued that what was extracted using the tools was not necessarily raw power but was in fact closer to something like chaos or uncertainty. The player character can also be thought of as a Padhomaic entity, because the story literally revolves around them and the change that they bring through their actions, so it can be argued that using those tools to perform this glitch is in a way actually draining raw chaos from the player character. This is evidenced by the fact that this glitch drains your HP.
Gilen Soto They've basically stopped fixing the game after a year or 2 from that. But though there is still some game breaking mechanics that hasn't been resolved.

I remember playing this years back. I remember it came with a map outside the game to figure out where to go. This whole run was done in less time than it took me to find out which direction I had to turn and face.
Holy crap that was quick. The 6th House was like uhhhhhhhhh what just happened. I don't think the timer should start until you step outside the last Census door into Seyda Neen, because everything prior to that everything is mandatory.

I have encountered and partaken in many discussions about who the most powerful player character was and why. I often felt it was down to the Champion of Cyrodiil or Nerevarine. This confirms, however, that the Nerevarine is without any doubt the most powerful. The Nerevarine must usually suppress their potential in most playthroughs, but here we can see it completely unleashed. Just obliterated a god in minutes without so much as a moment's delay.
MrVeleno87 I spent hours trying to steal mortar and pestles out of the shop in that city (i forget the name, but it has hlaal guards in it, and its like the first one you go to after the dock city)
ProducShuns Balmora. If you go to Caldera though (further north), you can find a whole kit unattended in the mages guild. But stealing is bad and you should feel bad.
Nico P Oh man. I'm not sure if it was the Caldera one but I spent so much time in a mages guild trying to steal shit as well haha. Pretty sure that's all I did on that game as a kid... lol
ProducShuns AHAH old times, me too i spent most of my gametyme trying to steal stuff, precisely on Balmora...still remember when i tried to steal those little, precious gems on the desk guarded by a mage in a yellow dress. I always ended up killed by that and other mages in the lounge, then i finally realized there was a mission in which the mage guarding the gems just moved away form the desk, so i was able to steal all those fuckers, and i was happy like a child.
Thanks for the explanation of what you did. I have been playing Morrowind for years. It IS my favorite Elder Scrolls game and now thanks to SGDQ2014 I am now going to start speedrunning it. Just one question for ya. What version of the game are you using? 1.0?

This goes to show that glitches are more powerful than gods
Cole Jenkins Now the question is are they more powerful than Dragonborn?
The Almighty Dru Except Anu and Padomay
***** Dragonborn isnt as tough as the Hero of Kvatch, and even the hero is before Morrowind's hero
*nerd glasses* I'd say the Dragonborn is tougher than the Hero of Kvatch. In Oblivion you were just an errand boy, the story was really about Martin. At least until the Shivering Isles.
MasterFancyPants You can't say "until" because Shivering Isles is history.
this is the canon version of events
Kzinssie (porygonlover322) C0DA makes it canon
LOL that captain is probably still waiting for the prisoner to show up with the document.
4 minutes later...
"Oh here you are, what took you so long?"
Yeah sorry, I was busy killing a God.
*reporting to Caius after killing god*
Caius: "You're new and you look it, here's 200 drakes, go buy yourself some clothes, or armor.."

Oh, they're probably stealing stuff in the other room again...
whom? Trying to sound smart I presume? Whom is used next to prepositions.
its mostly correct still I think, would be better if he said "with whom"
Nah, it's been just 3 minutes, he wasn't waiting for too long.
"You're journey will be long and treacherous...oh....OH..thanks then"
so basically all that about becoming hortator and to lead the ashlander clans and seeking the ring and talking to vivec and all the other vital parts of the main quest, are actually not needed to complete the main quest.
this is why i love morrowind.

+eNSWE it's more like the "hot potato" method of sword wielding
lol I LOVE THIS GAME !!!!!!!!!!!!!
The best part about this? This is entirely lore friendly. Keening, the weapon being used to perform the glitch, is one of Kagrenac's tools, used by the Tribunal to literally make themselves living gods. Using it to phase through walls and fly around sounds pretty tame in comparison, huh?
Isn't the heart required for achieving godhood?
Not lore friendly, but still funny.
***** If that were true, why do you still get the speed bonus when you wear wraithguard?
Shit, coaxed into a snafu.
Iunno a wizard did it.
BRAVO KIRKBRIDE
i wonder what the creators of this game think when they see this lol
"We spent so much time on Morrowind, hoping players can spend hours on this masterpiece, and this guy beat it in less than 4 minutes."
this is an old version of morrowind, they repair all those glitches in later patches and versions
ha

Based off of this video, the plot is pretty weak.

I and many others find that the plot to Morrowind is the strongest of all of the Elder Scrolls games. All quests in the game and the atmosphere build together to make a much more thought provoking and emotional experience than games such as Skryim could ever do.
You start off as the weakest of the weak, but as you grow stronger, the people and groups around you react accordingly, and you really do feel a sense of accomplishment.
My comment was loaded with a good dose of sarcasm fyi
Darth Aussie He says based off the video.. not morrowind itself. its a joke btw
Redheadeddude41
Based on actual gameplay time, Skyrim's plot is even weaker. Choose sides, kill dragon. But that's ES games in a nutshell.
+Darth Aussie Wow that sarcasm missed you by a fucking vvardenfell didn't it?

that was the best pun of all time.
truly gg
But that means it goes on forever so impossible is what your saying
Defining it goes on forever.
It is finite.
It is literally over before 3.15 seconds.
honestly the more years that pass the more incredible this gets
You spent half your time creating your character. So, not much different from the average play through.
I remember playing this years back. I remember it came with a map outside the game to figure out where to go. This whole run was done in less time than it took me to find out which direction I had to turn and face.
What i did in half a year you did it in 3 minutes... damn son
A hero like no other, arrive at Morrowind and within minutes do everything no one has. Real lore right there.
Holy crap that was quick. The 6th House was like uhhhhhhhhh what just happened.
I don't think the timer should start until you step outside the last Census door into Seyda Neen, because everything prior to that everything is mandatory.
no for it to be qualified for the world record it needed to be from the verry begining
By the time this video ends, the dragonborn still hasn't gotten to the chopping block.

This confirms, however, that the Nerevarine is without any doubt the most powerful. The Nerevarine must usually suppress their potential in most playthroughs, but here we can see it completely unleashed. Just obliterated a god in minutes without so much as a moment's delay.
Excuse me as I now shall cry in my bed sheets for spending so many hours in the game and never gotten close to finishing it.
Update:
I finished it and it took 2 years.
Daywalker727 holy shit 😂😂
Update:i 100% finished this game and started to pčay oblivion it takes me 7 months.
My favourite part of Morrowind speedruns is hearing Dagoth Urs dialogue colliding with itself and Azura telling you how you.already killed him
Wow, I never thought somebody would beat the 4:19 speedrun. Good job.
“Hey John, remember the guy we let off the boat?”
“Yeah?”
“Heard he killed a god two minutes after”
Here I am 64 hours in and haven't started the main quests yet
Saved all of Marrowind in less time than it takes for a guard to finish a sweet roll break.
i never finished morrowind, sob sob
Me too, and people finish it in minutes, lmao.
MrVeleno87 I spent hours trying to steal mortar and pestles out of the shop in that city (i forget the name, but it has hlaal guards in it, and its like the first one you go to after the dock city)
ProducShuns
Balmora.
These scrolls of flight must be the most convenient "drop" in the history of speedrunning.
You can't really say you finished the game if you didn't give Fargoth his ring only to steal it again
Todd Howard : We added over 100 dungeons in this game
*legit goes through 1 fucking dungeon all game*
3:33 He just stabbed someone's face with a lockpick killing him instantly.
"The Keening has dealt you a mortal wound"
"No it hasn't!"
I like how he chose the Redguard for the speed run.
Usain Bolt
Holy shit! You're going faster than in Saints Row 4! And that's the fastest fucking speedrun I've ever seen!
...
I need to lie down...
Skillz to pay the billz.
i feel like if i even dare tried this i would not accomplish it in that exact time frame
Thanks for the explanation of what you did. I have been playing Morrowind for years. It IS my favorite Elder Scrolls game and now thanks to SGDQ2014 I am now going to start speedrunning it. Just one question for ya. What version of the game are you using? 1.0?
1.0
Ok, that was badass as hell. Based on this, you will no doubt have 3:05 one day. Keep it up:)
Nerevarine : Giving papers to Sellus Gravius ? lolno i'm gone.
I thought the Skyrim speed run was broken, but this... This is on a whole new game breaking level xD
3:14, I cannot believe anyone hasn't said it yet but I will. Pi : P
Just came here because I had a feeling running diagonally was faster, which you confirmed ty
Is this unpatched? I thought the constant effect glitch was fixed.
Talented Juli Mostly bought it back in 2002 retail.
One of the best soundtracks to a game IMO.
Why 3:14 and not 3:35 like the timer says?
load times removed
Ahh, okay! Impressive stuff. :)
First thought why remove load times, but ofc the hardware that's being used is a factor in load times. :) Makes sense.
"It is not too late for my mercy-"
*end cutscene starts*
"Oh. Well... Maybe it is"
So... did you have fun?
