Yeah, I compared it to the Julliard Brass's live recording of the work on You Tube. Just about a quartertone sharp. Another person who posted the same Empire Brass recording has it at the exact same pitch as me. Unfortunately, The digital player is set, and cannot be changed, unlike other digital LP recorders that play a half tone higher than actual pitch. But I'm not complaining. It is an honor to have a rare recording posted on You Tube for free for people to listen and enjoy by the Empire Brass, now that unfortunately Rolf has died. I missed him dearly. I met the Empire Brass a couple of times. I will always cherish the moments.
