tvN 수목드라마 ‘검색어를 입력하세요 WWW’가 여배우들의 긴장감 넘치는 워맨스로 화제를 모으고 있는 가운데, 다섯번 째 OST인 마마무의 ‘WOW’를 발표한다.
‘WOW’는 극 중 ‘유니콘’을 떠나 경쟁업체 '바로'에 출근하게 되는 배타미(임수정)의 당당한 모습에 흐르며 시청자들의 관심을 모았고, 팬들이 꾸준하게 출시를 기다려왔던 곡이다.
간결하고 리드미컬한 기타 리프를 베이스로한 트로피컬 요소가 있는 팝 트랙으로, 특히 마마무 문별이 직접 랩 메이킹에 참여해 긍정과 자신감의 메시지를 담았으며, 마마무 멤버들의 밝은 에너지가 잘 표현됐다.
또 거미, 플라이투더스카이 등의 프로듀싱을 했던 김민을 비롯해 크루셜스타, 테이크원 등의 트랙에 피처링으로 참여했던 가수 테일러(Taylor)가 작곡을 맡아 완성도를 높였다.

This was my favorite song from WWW's ost and now I know why. It's because Mamamoo sang it. But beyond this, I loved the drama because of the strong female leads. How many times do we get that in Korean dramas?!?! Not enough.
