@@aoitodo3301 It's definitely my favorite Isekai, and Subaru I think is probably my favorite anime protagonist despite "not being anything special." He's very different from the normal male anime protagonist and I relate to him a lot. The English voice actor by the way has a huge range to the point that I couldn't even tell some other roles that he did was him, and even after finding out I'm still having a hard time hearing his voice from other roles after listening closely! He voices the protagonist from Tales of Arise for example. That's the one I'm referring to that I can't distinguish that it's the same guy. There's other ones like this as well, but that one is recent.
Also for your question on what happens with this OST plays. I'll explain without spoilers. The most heart wrenching, gut changing, teeth clattering, organ stopping moment of despair.
One of the songs that made me love Myth & Roid, it's a bop yet dark. The scene to this had my heart to pieces... Also please do react to these OSTs: Hymne of Despair and Atonement, Rondo of Love and Darkness
I had to rewatch rezero to find the OST, I geniunely didn't remember, and now that I found it I get it, I was too in shock to process this amazing song in the backround
Lol No this dude is going to get emotionally destroyed. But I’ll be here to see him get up again after all ain’t that one the main themes of Re:zero? Falling down and getting back up again.
Re:Zero is such a masterpiece and I’m so hyped for you to finally react to it! I hope you’re mentally prepared for it though because it can get very dark and the pain Subaru goes through is out of this world.
Here are some more anime with Myth&Roid songs: Isekai Cheat Magician OP "Panta Rhei" - the show isn't good, but the song slaps. Cautious Hero OP "Tit for Tat" - this show is a parody/deconstruction of isekai tropes that works better when you've watched other isekai shows. The song goes hard. Boogiepop and Others OP "Shadowgraph" - this is an adaptation of a very weird light novel from the 1990s. Directed by the same guy who did the first season of One Punch Man. The song is amazing. Bubuki Buranki ED "Anger/Anger" - weird CG animated mecha show with great music. Made in Abyss S2 ED "Endless Embrace" - if you've seen Made in Abyss you should already know about this one. And once you get into Overlord there will be some more awesome Myth&Roid songs to look forward to.
I couldn't for the life of me place exactly where this song played in the anime, so I had to go look it up. So yeah - after that reminder I can firmly say that "shit hitting the fan" is about as mild of a way of describing what happened in that scene.
Can’t wait for you to watch Re:Zero, also excited for your Straight Bet reaction I’m sure you’ll love that one as well! If you want to listen to more osts “Chain of Memories” & “Abyss” are fantastic emotional ones if you want to explore more of the darker ones I recommend “Hymn of despair and atonement” & “rondo of love and darkness”
I think that one of the most important themes and that you will hear the most throughout this anime is "Rondo of LOVE and Darkness" and I think you should listen to it now that you can enjoy it since in the anime it will only give you anxiety and chills..😂
I'm so excited for Re Zero another one of my favorite animes, I truly love the fact that I didn't give up with it. The first time I watched it I couldn't pass through the middle of the first season but when one of my friends insisted and the second season came Oh God I'm truly grateful to my friend for the push. I tend to finish what I start watching and in case I don't finish it, it's like I never even started in first place. But I value my time and enjoyment so if I'm having a truly bad time I'm not going to force myself. That's my take on that matter.
Theater D fits so well. Re:Zero is both amazing and dreadful at the same time and I love it. I've only had the time to watch the 1st season but it was amazing. I'm totally in agreement with the 1 episode thing. There are so many great series out there, anime or otherwise, that are slow to start but end up being amazing. That's why I always watch at least 3 episodes before deciding to continue or stop a series. There have even been a few times where I came back to a series several years later and ended up liking it.
Man when Theater D drops in the show it greatly enhanced the scene. Then when straight bet starts going you start to feel pumped for the MC. I won't go into details though, its something you need to experience for yourself.
I only realized just now how fitting even the lyrics of this song are to the moment in the anime this plays in. Myth and Roid really were cooking with that one
I legit just finished rewatching re zero for the 5th time last night but im legally required to watch this with you now so i guess its gonna be the 6th time. Also watch the directors cut version for season 1, then the ova memory snow, then season 2. The directors cut makes it all smoother and sound more natural and the ova is important to understand a specific character arc.
Before you start your re zero journey ready your mentak health because this anime is going to be insane also put a tussue beside you because theres some emotional scene in this anime
9:40 I dont think your point makes much sense, the reason people say they prefer later seasons of a show compared to the first one is because of the journey/storybits/characters that reach climaxes beyond season 1. Season 1, especially pilot episodes, NEED to convey how the future of the story is going to look more or less, that’s how the shows are even greenlit in the first place. So people dropping after an awful first episode or season 1, just makes sense. And of course your point doesnt apply to shows that dont even have seasons.
The game Eternal City has two songs I think you will appreciate: 1) My Days - Konomi Suzuki (the same singer as the Re:Zero opennings 1 and 3) 2) Myth & Roid - Reminiscence Samsara (Reminisce Reincarnation)
Can't wait for the Re: Zero reaction, it's my top favorite anime! I buy the light novels and Manga for it, read the web novel, and can't wait for season 3 to come out because the story's so good especially if arc 6 is going to be adapted into season 3.
7:42 well, Theater D is specifically made as an alternative ending-song, SPECIFICALLY for one episode. So it's not a song that regularily plays, which may already give you a hint that something drastic may or may not happen in said episode. "Call of the Witch" comes into play way more often than Theater D, but is in no way less relevant than Theater D. It's just the fact that the episode in which Theater D plays, is "special" (in some way).
Re:Zero is probably among the best Isekai around, it's not perfect, it's definitely not a masterpiece, but in my opinion it's very close. Definitely a must watch.

Totally agree with the argument at the end. I gave up on Higurashi when they cry after 4 episodes the first time thought it was boring. Or other example gave up on Jujutsu Kaisen after 3 episodes because i dont like the characters, so it's not a show for me and that is fine but i wouldn´t say to others dont watch it because i dont have real agruments against the show itself.
Yeah it is unpopular opinion but shibuya incident fights were boring i was not able to enjoy it. But it finished off real good especially last 3 episode
OMG, not only am I hyped up for Re:Zero but also for Parasite and Heavenly Delusion! Parasite was one of the first animes that I watched and I fell in love with this one, it's like my first anime love haha. And I just finished reading Heavenly Delusion manga after watching the show and geez this is something fresh. Get prepared for a huuuuge emotional rollercoaster when watching these three animes :D
YOU LOVED MADE IN ABYSS, YOU WILL LOVE RE:ZERO, I have been preaching this to you for like 4 months now. Re:zero is literally my favorite anime and for good reason.
The Re:Zero openings are super iconic so reacting to those will be good if you have not already done so. Most people will be recommending the creepy/intense re:zero osts but two that I highly recommend are Minase Inori - Wishing, and Rie Murakawa - What you don't know. Each of these songs are played in iconic and emotional moments, one song for each season.
The majority of people from what I have seen that do not like Re Zero is because they hate/cant stand the main character of the show. Lets say he is very different from your typical Isekai and most people find this offputting. Its not even close from the type of character so its not a spoiler but think about Rudy of Mushoku Tensei. He is very different as a character compared to your normal main characters and its easy to see why people might dislike the character. However I am 100% sure that you will "get" him and understand what his character is about. I have faith there because in the shows I have watched you react to you try to understand how the character feels and what might be the reason they act the way they act and you dont just judge then as hey you are the main character of an isekai so do main character things :D My best advise for people when it comes to the main character in this show is: Remember that he is human. And try to think of him as a human and not your typical op anime protagonist that does not make mistakes. It will be much easier this way to get into it and understand what its about
The best parts of a TV show tending to be the later seasons makes sense, but counterpoint: you can imo often differentiate between "meh" and "good" shows based solely on the first 5-10 minutes of the pilot episode based on the 1) writing, 2) character establishment (leading to development), 3) animation/art, 4) music, and 5) amount of "fan service" / stereotypes.
@@jackerrocker2235 ho so it is that arc, I read the summary of the episode and I can’t remember anything about episode 14. This arc is like a blur, the only thing I remember is the climax of the arc and another part I won’t mention. It’s like recalling a nightmare or a traumatic experience.
I'm really happy you want to watch Re: Zero really soon. But please do in terms of your own enjoyment yourself a favor and do not react to any Re: Zero stuff anymore before you have seen the show itself. The reason is most videos, which present the soundtracks, often have a fitting picture for the video, which in return contain spoiler if you haven't seen the show before! I recommend to listen to the soundtracks after you have seen the whole show to understand how impactfull those OSTs trually are! You might be filled with anger, sadness and also happiness, while those specific scenes you have wittnessed will instantly pop up in your mind and you will revisiting those exact scenes in your mind once again. In my opinion, this is the best way to enjoy those masterpieces of OSTs.
Your completely right 9:30 some people dont just give things a chance but I'm the opposite i will either not watch something at all.. or watch the whole thing (the only show i have on pause right now is naruto anime wise, but 3 others live action shows i need to continue such as Mandalorian)

and I forgot to mention the moment this played in ep 14, I just forgot about everything else and just stared at the screen in despair
this soundtrack just describe the anime it self , both masterpiece
This episode when its played though kinda catches you offguard and i loved that.
Seeing your reaction to Re:Zero will be a reason to follow you. 😂
I enjoyed every reaction I have watched so far. You have such a nice vibe.
It would be cool to see the reaction to OST The Battle of concepts from the anime Haikyuu. I highly recommend this soundtrack.
Takt of Heroes-Origin- is another must react Re Zero OST 👍
I have faith there because in the shows I have watched you react to you try to understand how the character feels and what might be the reason they act the way they act and you dont just judge then as hey you are the main character of an isekai so do main character things :D
My best advise for people when it comes to the main character in this show is: Remember that he is human. And try to think of him as a human and not your typical op anime protagonist that does not make mistakes. It will be much easier this way to get into it and understand what its about
Single minded shonen fans will not understand this show even in their life time
Man so many videos you’re uploading today! Love it!
i really loved this one when it has playing on the anime
5:32 Don't worry you'll get there~
Yessss I been waiting for this one. This is one of my favorite songs of all time I am so glad you got into it!
I hope they use this ost again to some of the upcoming things in future seasons
I loved your fmab reactions and it really flew by so fast, can’t wait for rezero
The best parts of a TV show tending to be the later seasons makes sense, but counterpoint: you can imo often differentiate between "meh" and "good" shows based solely on the first 5-10 minutes of the pilot episode based on the 1) writing, 2) character establishment (leading to development), 3) animation/art, 4) music, and 5) amount of "fan service" / stereotypes.
cant wait for Re:Zero to start one of my faves
other noteworthy OST's :
Chain of Memories
Fantasy Lied
Echt of sorrow
and all the insert songs
I don’t remember hearing this song in the show but it was a while since I watched season 1
Its at the end of episode 14 in season 1 iirc
@@MlecznyHuxel9999 ho ok
It’s the village scene, you know what I mean
@@jackerrocker2235 ho so it is that arc, I read the summary of the episode and I can’t remember anything about episode 14. This arc is like a blur, the only thing I remember is the climax of the arc and another part I won’t mention. It’s like recalling a nightmare or a traumatic experience.
I recommend you another bizarre Myth&Roid song Crazy Scary Holy Fantasy. It's amazing.
Look up the OST "Crazy Scary Holy Fantasy" its by MYth&Roid and was from Overlord. Also great!
Code Geass has got to make the list at some point.
I've been waiting for some Re:zero osts! W upload!
Ah yes, one of my personal favorites from my favorite anime. This music fits the place where it plays pretty well haha, you'll see. Being a bit scared to watch it is not entirely wrong. Also Straight Bet is a banger too.
Can't wait for the Re: Zero reactions
Rem's song "Wishing" is also a good one
You are not wrong to be little scared, but you will love the show. That has been already promised long time ago.
Takt of heroes origin is another popular track from Re Zero
Irmão Re::Zero tem trilha sonora imersiva de mais, e sempre que elas aparecem numa cena da vontade de chorar na hora, não importa se a cena é triste ou feliz, isso é Re:Zero ❤
hope he watches the directors cut version
I was like wait he allready did the first episode ! Man I cant wait when it’s finally time
The director cut is best way to watch. Not sure if anyone recommended yet
5:28 I went from _"Wait, I don't remember this song..."_ to _"Oh, no... I remember this song"_ real quick
End of episode 14, in case anyone else forgot like I did
Luke: "What is happening when the ost is playing?"
Me: "They are making the warm up and preparations to play Twister (Isekai version)."
I just watched reaction on op and ed, and here you are with new reaction xd
Theater D and Straight Bet came outta nowhere. Got people searching it 8 seconds when they first heard that in that episode 😂😂😂
The OST : 😈😤
The scene : 💀
React to Goblin Slayer op 2. Tis great
