My brother is in the Air Force he has been gone since I was in fifth grade I miss him more than anything and we have Veterans Day programs at school and I don’t get to see him and he’s very sad because everybody else is brothers and Mom’s and Dad’s are there and I know that he’s doing something incredible makes me so happy to see people like you honoring him and every other veteran for what they do I think I don’t get enough recognition
This is the kind of Country Music that I wish people would listen to when they say they hate country music cause "it's all about trucks, drinking, and girls"....they don't get it also about patriotism, love, loss, and healing.

I wish my great grandpa was still here... he was in world war 2 and I miss him with my whole heart... it’s been over 10 years since he passed away and I miss him more and more everyday.
And my brother was in the Navy , when he had to leave for deployment, I super sad but luckily he came back to me safely.

Ok, this one hurt a lot. Just lost my father on 12/23 he didn't die in war, but war was the death. He never mentally recovered from Vietnam and tried to hide it behind a wall of beer cans.

My cousin in the military he getting transferred some time this year he in elposo Texas but he being moved again I have no contact with him so this song gives me some peace hope he be able to come home next year for the holidays because he can't this year since he came home last year but I was sick so two years without see him next year my heart break I worry about him cry all the time
@@DrewJacobsMusic thanks am in a bad head space my depression is so bad tomorrow I make calls to my family to pay my respects the radio been sad all weekend I cried all day yesterday in bed came home from vacation to day cried all the way home am numb I can't get up tomorrow am hurt July 28 makes 20 year mark.since mt.first uncle died but tomorrow the ten year memorial mark I was 13. Or 14 when he died no one should watch their uncle's be taken off.life support after surgery blood clot after surgery broke leg he died at home but they placed on a machine so our family could say good by they tried surgery but lost him again can tomorrow just not happen feel.so.alon in this this pain am cry 😭💔

This really hit me hard to the core. My husband served in the Navy back in the late 80s. He was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2013 due to radiation from radar. He was an operation specialist. He passed away in 2017, May 3rd. It was 9 days before his 48th birthday. I miss him every single day. And this made me ball my eyes out. I still wish that he was here with me. He was my first true love and my best friend. He had so many plans for the future and now, I look forward to the day that I can see him again. Just not too soon cause I do have my son to take care off right now. I love my husband with my heart and soul.
