Very likely from Hamilton County, OH. Probably replaced by one of the SRNs West Shore installed there in the 90s or early 2000s. Especially the fact that it has a 1957 serial which we know that they got a batch of 4/5s in 1957
Ah this is the one that i have seen in some West Shore tour videos! I somehow guess it was a 4/5 lol. My god that attack signal is perfect and amazing! Very beastly Thunderbolt.
@@SirensAndAlarmsOfNorthernIL Painting it good ole CD yellow since everyone decided to do the blue idea. However its gonna get up WAYYY higher hopefully
The blower came from a nuclear power plant somewhere in the Carolinas, although it’s usually paired to a 1003 that’s apparently Ex-Little Rock, Arkansas but could actually be from Pine Bluff Arsenal, also in Arkansas to my understanding
The fact that you pulled out this out of the depths of WSS and had it running in the same week is crazy.
Never underestimate the ability to make shit work in the South.

Sat for 33 years too. This one is quite the spectacle, as a southerner myself I am surprised that this one works in the first place

Awesome siren!
This siren sounds like the white thunderbolt near the university of Minnesota at Minneapolis
Edit 1 I forgot to add that it’s a 4/5 1000at
yeah because they are both 4/5 thunderbolts.
Whelen left the chat.
sounds good except for the windup and down which sound sick
I thought that this thing would get scrapped at some point
Darn he beat me to it. I was hoping to save this thing but I guess I was too late.
Damn I was actually thinking of getting that exact bolt pretty soon. I knew it look pretty old lol
Ngl, this siren sounds really amazing!! But it my opinion, the wind up sounds sick or something but anyway, nice job dude
Well this *was* the first time it ran in about 33 years or so.

Should have came… should have came…
Isn’t that Daniel’s blower? Cool video btw!
It is mine. This siren is still on it as i write this comment. I plan to use it until i get my 1003 fully restored
@@SouthCarolinaSirens figured it was. Can’t wait to see that 1003 restored!

Where did this siren originated from?
the head might be ex-Lansing, I'm not entirely sure though.
Serial matches up to the ones from Hamilton County, OH but we aren’t exactly sure if it is

@@madisoncountysirens4295Doubt it’s Lansing, I’d bet either Hamilton County Ohio or Oakland County MI. Hell could be Detroit idk

You can hear #whelen
Why do these random people keep saying they were gonna save it? Think it has a good place with you and idk who half these people are lol…
It is staying at my house as the actual owner is unable to store it at his place due to space limitations.
