I just found your video today, thank you for posting this. Only half the town exists now the other half has been decimated by Wildfire as of last night. This is one of my favourite vacation spots ever. I don’t live too far away from it.
Amazing video guys! CANNOT BELIEVE the wildlife you saw in such a short amount of time! Wish this series was in real time so we could meet up with you somewhere in Canada 😀
Thanks so much guys! We got lucky with animals that’s for sure 😍 That would be so much fun to meet up! We will have to make it happen soon. We loved our time in your home country 💜 Hope we did it justice! Thanks for the comment 🤗
Hi Sammy and Tommy. There is a fire burning in Jasper National Park. 30% of the Jasper Townsite burned, mostly Residential. Not sure how much has burned in the Park. Mother Nature is Awesome, with the ability to create, destroy, and then create something new.
Wow!!! So incredible beautiful wildlife.. i love you guys ,i love the way you introduce every places you visit every details so awesome .. I never been to any countries and you the instrument how beautiful i can see all over the world 🌎 ❤ . God is good. He made that all for us. Greetings from Philippines 🇵🇭 💖 Thank you so much for sharing such a wonderful vedios... Sammy and Tommy you guys are lovely .God bless you and take care .
Great video and thank you for not getting out of your vehicle and endangering yourself and the wildlife. Jasper was THE place to see wildlife and I saw so much more there vs lower down towards Banff. Also thanks for mentioning 09:27 bear spray. I see so many influencers not mention this despite being in bear country. Also- please do NOT simply throw them away. They can generally be returned to the place you purchased them from or to any Parks Canada Visitor Center. Personally I just give it away (I have to fly into Canada and it's illegal to carry in baggage).
This video made me so freaking excited. I’m moving to Jasper in 2 weeks all the way from Nova Scotia. The first 30 seconds literally gave me chills, thank you for such an amazing video💓
Wow!!! I loved this video and the Icefields Parkway one. You guys put your heart into your videos and provide so much info. That clip of Mama moose sniffing at your car with you just a few feet from her was amazing and jaw dropping. I’ve been told that moose can be very dangerous so your close encounter was incredible!!! I’ll be doing the Jasper to Banff route for 16 days in early October so your video makes me feel very excited!! Thanks a million guys! I’ve subscribed to your awesome channel.
Omg that Elk was soooo majestic, I've never seen one and never seen any bear either, I'm dying to visit this place! Loved Sammy's narration too haha 😊😊... Wonderful video, guys!
Thank you for your wonderful videos! I have a trip planed in May of 2025, can hardly wait after watching your videos. I was getting ready to post about bear spray, then Tommy mentioned it. I understand you should always have bear spray in that area. Keep up the great work and remain the wonderful couple we all see in your videos.
Wow you guys got some great wildlife footage!! I love how you provide info and fun facts and explain where you are in each clip! Super helpful for those of us planning a trip there :)
Awesome video of the landscapes and wildlife.. thanks so much for these. I live in Canada, but haven't been to this area yet. It is a big country, but it has been on my list for years and years. You have made my decision to go next summer for sure! Thanks!
Another superb video my friends, Jasper looks absolutely breath taking, speaking of Jasper my nephews name is Jasper too, so I'm so glad to see your trip to Jasper
great video! flying to Banff this weekend hoping to see some of these same sights. What camera and lens were you shooting on at 5:09? I wanted to do a video with some drone shots but apparently its a 25k fine! yikes
Thanks so much! You’re gonna have an awesome time! We shot this video on the Sony A-6500 and I believe it was with the 18-105 Sony lens for that shot or could of been our sigma 16mm. Yes no droning in that area, don’t want to scare off the wildlife anyways :)
Firstly, I think Sammy is so brave tackling those steep hikes!! I think it's awesome what you accomplish. Also, what time of year did you visit? I feel the the weather and wildlife sightings are perfect for that area
Ahhh thank you!! That last one was intense, I definitely felt accomplished after that one 💖🤗 We were there this exact time last year in September! It was the perfect time to spot wildlife!!
Love this video and the excitement seeing animals! The national geographic commentary is perfect ❤ When were you there? Looks like fall. I am hoping to take my boys there late September early October.
I am going to Jasper, Banff etc in September! when was this? im curious about weather in mid/late September. I am from Ontario so I know its a bit different. amazing video :)
What time of year did you guys visit Jasper? I was there with a friend in July a few years back, we saw nowhere near the same amount of wildlife! Maybe it's just luck, but I'm wondering if certain times of year are better for animal presence. Glad you go to see moose like that though!
Hey great video! What is the name of the last hidden valley trail, it doesn’t seem to pop up on google maps and I’ll be in Jasper in a few days! Thanks
Sadly, Maligne Canyon, Maligne Lodge and the Wicked Cup are destroyed along with 1/3 of the town after a wildfire ravaged the area after an extended heat wave and dry spell in August 2024.
Love seeing some of the beautiful scenery reminds me of when I lived there. Just a note that you have been pronouncing some of the place names wrong. Maligne rhymes with clean. Athabaska has no “s” in the name.
Lucky you to have lived near such a beautiful place! I am surprised we didn’t butcher the pronunciation of a few more places! It’s one of the things we do best 😉 Thanks for corrections though!

Sept is the best for wildlife. All in their prime before winter.
Great video, thanks from Yukon

When the moose was smelling your gas tank, it was secretly licking the salt off your car.
Oh that's good to know. Thanks for sharing! Such an amazing experience!

Great video! May be going up there in 2024. What week in September did you go? Did you run into any smoke??
Hey great video! What is the name of the last hidden valley trail, it doesn’t seem to pop up on google maps and I’ll be in Jasper in a few days!
Thanks
seeing a moose in the park is very rare these days. they got some kind of liver disease a few years ago & there was quite a die off of them.
Good presentation. Thank s & t.
So nice of you! Thanks for the awesome feedback
What is the title of the song that is being played when you're at the Wicked Cup at '3:50'
I've tried to 'Shazam' it but I can't get the title of it
So sorry to see that the Maligne Lodge and Wicked Cup have been burnt down in the Wildfire.
Very poignant looking at it now
I'm going to do this hike tomorrow but I'm very scared of bears can anyone whose been there pls give me any advice to ease my mind

Do you have a hotel recommendation for that area?
Amazing video! Enjoyed watching this very informative video! Like and Subscribe.
So glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for the sub. We appreciate you!
First Comment!
Sight of some of my youthful follies.😂
Maligne pronounced: Ma-lene, not Ma-line!
Thanks for the correction!
where did you buy that nice curderoy hat with the bear logo from?
At the Jasper brewing company in Jasper town.
@@SammyandTommy super, highly appreciated
Bought a black one with the same logo, thanks again!
They have a black one! That’s awesome! I copying you for sure!
@@SammyandTommy thanks for the inspiration, get one as long as they have them in stock!
