A selection of semi-local services are seen on this reasonably busy section of the Sutton & Mole Valley Lines at Ashtead Station, passing over the quiet level crossing beside it. A mixture of newer Bombardier 'Electrostars' are seen along-side older, retro Class 455 trains. There are road junctions either side of this level crossing, and a total of six LED wigwags / warning lights are needed to provide all of them with ample warning of approaching trains. The level crossing was given a full renewal in 2016 and is operated from the Wimbledon Area Signalling Centre.
Side note: I looked all three ways to ensure the road was clear before crossing from the starting shot to go close-up in the first video.
