Sounds great drummer is really complementing your guitar bass and singing vocals timing is perfect . Gives a more thick rock sound . Very professional.

Playing is great, vocal harmonies are supreme, BUT it's the whole package the performance is next level. We need them.

At least once a show. These ladies would switch each other instruments. Since both can play guitar & bass.
Amazingly good video and audio from a cell phone! Talented women and I'm glad I lived long enough to see them get started.
Good performance. The new drummer adds a new dimension to the sound.
They needed that heavy drum sound.
Really like both can play bass and lead guitar in the same set. Never seen that before. They will get even better with age.

These young ladies are very good. I’ve been watching them when they only posted covers from their busking days BUT, REALLY, but you really believe they’re the best band you’ve seen other than AC/DC (from nearly 50 years ago)??? I can’t go with you on that unless you’ve only seen those two bands during that half century.
Yes, they can sing and play well, and they look great. I just haven't heard that killer song from them... yet.

Mamie left the band to continue her education. College or University is my guess since she is just hitting college age. Who knows, if it does not work out maybe she will return.

I'm not for sure if Band-Maid has opening acts. They usually play in fairly small places in the US and Europe. They are my favorite band, love the girls.

Mamie's attend college and couldn't make the tour. She is still very much part of the band.

Looks like they are using EODM gear for their bass which I believe are HIWATTS .
What happened to Mamie?
As of February 2022 Mamie decided to leave the band to continue her studies outside of music . Presumably that means university or college . They are using ' guest ' drummers for their live work .
Where is Amie??? Without her it‘ s just music!

Bernard, its Mamie. She's at Uni I believe since she is only 18 so has left the band. Temporarily one hopes as her style of drumming really suited the band with her sister Mollie and Mollie's close friend and band mate Orlaith.
That drummer has ruined what was a very good band
definitely not..Connor is an excellent drummer..
He did his job and anyone but Mamie would catch some flack. At least he didn't try to do any back up singing. Imagine the uproar that would have created.

Drummer boy is on his own world ego and plays over the band,not with them.
You can’t listen to the same songs Mamie vs drummer boy. You will hear Mamie play in rhythm with the band not over it. Drummer boy has a huge ego problem. Drummer boy is their for himself not Orlaith or Mollie.

PS - Nearly all stage musicians have an “ego problem.” Be grateful, without “ego problems” you’d have no one in the RRHOF. Lastly, their previous drummer didn’t have to audition and while she did her job, let’s just say her playing wouldn’t have exhausted a toddler. I’m not even sure if her drums ever needed a wiping down after their set.

I’m a musician of 50 years and drums are to be played not hammered to death.
Mamie was young and doing just fine.She was a great fit for the band. Mamie reminded me of a early Ringo Star who is also like Mamie a left hand drummer.
If drummer boy is such a talented drummer how come him a couple others are fill ins.

lot of rubbish being talked about the drummer..He hits em moderately hard but hes in time and its up to the sound engineer to properly mix the sound to put the girls and their amazing skills front and center. A great band waiting for someone who can properly mix live sound...
Its tough following a popular band member. It might part of the reason they don’t have a permanent drummer.
Nice opening set. New drummer adds new dimension, fills in nicely. Where's the hat? Can become a signature look...........:)
The drumming is once again overbearing, doesn’t fit.
The guitars and bass are low. The vocal low. The mix is terrible.
Man, after Mimi split, it has been really shaky ladies.
Albeit a live performance, almost every live performance with the original line up was stellar.
It’s all about the vibe. This has to be addressed and fast.

@The Golden Dust Archive: Your description is not right. Orlaith =vocals, bass, guitar. Drummer is unknown. Mammie Mc Ginn WAS the drummer. Maybe she'd fired. Unfortunately the band themselves hide this fact, cause i ve been looking for my self, i am searching for the information, what happened to Mammie, but i can't find anything about. If anybody knows more, i would be apriciated.
AFAIK Mamie has left the band to continue her education as she is the right age to start University . The life as the drummer in a working touring rock band is not really compatible with serious academic study . They are using various ' guest ' drummers. AFAIK these drummers are close personal friends of the band . In this case I think the drummers name is Conner , They seem to have used him for most of the European tour .
The guy on drums is Connor, a great drummer. Mamie had to continue her further education and may be back but for now Connor is the drummer. I should know, I am from Belfast where this band originated....

@@richarddavis4141 Well, she (Mollie's younger sister) was just 18 or 19 and chose to focus on her education, at least for now. Note the lineup above has her and Orlaith reversed, plus the current drummer is Connor.

Did little sister drummer quit the group?
In February 2022 they announced that Mamie was leaving the band to go to University. It is unknown if she will return. It's been a year and they have not named a full time drummer so maybe they are holding the spot open for her or maybe they just have not found someone to take the role full time.

At present the band has no ' official ' drummer and so they are operating as a duo whilst using various ' guest ' drummers for their live performances . I believe the drummer here is Connor Burnside .
