You made huge mistakes bro.. You can choose lover winder viscosity intex number, but never choose higher winder viscosity intex number of multi grade oil; like you can choose one step higher hot viscosity number but not twice of it.. for instance, if the manufacturer recommends 10W30 either you can choose 5W30, 10W40, or 5W40, but never choose 20W50, 5W50, or 20W40.. and ensure the oil's SAE grade comes the manufacture's recommended standared Good to go.
