Jesus Christ.. I never thought I’d be triggered by the thumbnail but it brought back so many memories of my baby sister… what incredible attention to detail, from all the sticky bits to the tiny head compared to parents hands going through the holes in the side of the cradle…
I know it was just a quirk/glitch that only occurred because you had a regular bassinet on the lot, but in real life, it isn’t abnormal or uncommon for one twin to be larger and healthier than the other, especially when they’re born prematurely. There’s even an incredibly serious medical issue that can happen with twins who share a placenta where that disparity is so severe as to be potentially fatal. It’s called twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome. Twins who share a placenta can sort of share a blood supply via that web of blood vessels. One twin withers from receiving fewer nutrients than the other, but the larger twin suffers as well because its stronger heart ends up strained from pumping blood through both babies. But the coolest thing in the world? We can do surgery in utero now where they cauterize connecting vessels in the placenta with a laser, thus separating the babies’ blood supplies from one another and allowing them to continue growing safely.
I just want to note that one of the things not with this update but when the mother is giving birth the partner has a chance of PASSING OUT during the birth and will have a sad emotion from missing it after. (Just thought it was cute thing to add)
I had my son last year at 23 weeks along. He was in the NICU for 153 days. He was 1 lb 6.5 oz. I think it’s great to bring awareness of this kind of thing. Also, the first interaction with the dad with his hands through the holes is called a “preemie hug”. It’s a way to bond before you’re allowed to hold the baby. Although, I don’t think i could play with this feature. It was the hardest, most traumatic experience of my life. I just can’t play it in my game.
My heart goes out to you. Both My twins were in for 140 days, and as much as I appreciate the depth and lengths that she went, I agree I could not play this feature.
I was preemie baby I was 4LB 11onces this mod will make my family perfect Im currently working on them but cant have them have kids until this mod is released

Wow skin to skin, tube feeding realistic as well as the size, also how they interact with baby in incubator like how he put his hands on head and feet that’s how your taught to do this by nicu staff.
Oh my 😮 it brings back memories to my first born over 35 years ago. She was less than 4 pounds and had to stay at the hospital for a month. I was there a week recovering. After I left I went every day and night to hold and feed her until she was healthy enough to come home and she was 4 pounds 8 ounces by then. She did a wonderful job on this mod❤❤❤❤
I was a 1lb preemie born in 1991. My oldest child was born at 35 weeks. His birth was horrific. He ended up in NICU for 10 days mainly for jaundice, feeding problems, and complications from gestational diabetes. He's turning 13 in January
I've been waiting for this update for so long I even planned for my legacy gens next baby to be a preemie im really excited to try it out once its public (Not trying to be insensitive I just had already planned for the baby to be sort of a overprotected youngest child of the family so it fit well when I saw the patreon posts the past few months talking about preemies)
YEEEEEEEES! i f***NG love Pandasama's work. Hers is the only Patreon I'm subscribed, since I'm from Brazil and it's kinda expensive for us. But its totally worth it
I can't wait for this update this is gonna add more storytelling to my gameplay, also my oldest daughter was a premie baby born 3lbs 11 ounces and she had to stay in the NICU for two months those were the two hardest months for me I didn't even get the chance to hold her when she was first born due to her having to have emergency surgery due to health complications, but she is now 8 and so full of life and joy
I have twins and they were premature and that’s very accurate in the sense of incubator, the lights - helps treats jaundice if the baby gets unwell. Haven’t finished watching so I’ll see what the rest is saying. 😅
I was born a month early due to doctors realising I was being poisoned by my mothers own blood. I was born with rhesus disease and immediately rushed to another hospital. I was born in hospital A and they needed me to go to hospital C, but I wouldn't have made the journey, so they rushed me to hospital B while 2 people on motorbikes drove from hospital C to B twice each carrying a LOT of blood to give me a full body blood transfusion I was also a rainbow baby, and an IVF baby! 6 days later, I was allowed out of hospital on my dad's BIRTHDAY! this mod looks amazing ❤ cannot wait to use it!
This mod review had me teary eyed thinking of my youngest daughter. I had complications very similar and we had to spend time in the special care unit for a month. Luckily I didn't have to have a c section. But we had the whole tube feeding thing and lots of tabs stuck to her monitoring her vitals. I had to turn my head away from the epidural interaction. I could literally feel the spot in my back where that goes in, tighten up and cringe lol Anyway! Great review I really enjoyed it and the detailing in this mod is incredible. If I can handle it, I just might have to grab it up.
I was a preemie 1lb baby, I was born 4.5 months earlier than I was supposed to be but I’m doing well now. I also was born via emergency c-section. The attention to detail for this mod is absolutely incredible.
Sims should do a whole doctor centric mod too, it has operation experience, the resuscitation scene and few other things doctors falling sick themselves
Pandasama is truly amazing! I’m so tempted to get this mod early. Those interactions are so sweet and super amazingly made. I wonder how long they have to stay at the hospital like can they leave and come back to check on there baby like for realistic purposes like let’s say that mother is healing you know and the baby is in NICU a lot of times people will leave to check at home like if they kids at home or like pets and wanna check on things like I wonder if that’s something that’s allowed? I wonder if like the Husband or there significant other can do that. I know like it’s the sims 4 they will have like sitters for like kids but, I’m talking in general. Also I would love to know where you found this hospital in the gallery, it looks so good!
The way my sims have been having pregnancy complications that have led to premature deliveries and c-sections, I just knew this update was coming out sooner than later
