Wow! Another forgotten THX trailer, and without the Deep Note! One quality system trailer to blend both in for ACT III Theatres, all the while announcing the feature presentation. #THX #Dolby #qualitymatters
Muvico had a theater in Florida inspired by the dolby digital Egyptian intro that's no longer muvico. Which sucks, but you can still see the pyramid building still.
It's not presented bc this was a special made trailer with Dolby Digital for Act III theaters. They are apart from each other and Dolby owns the so called "Egypt" trailer, so they, in order to not have audiences be scared, removed the deep note and let the Egypt trailer theme from Dolby Digital play instead
@@pinkified_friends Smart move. Cause I was afraid of the Thx deep note as a kid. So if I heard it at the theater. I'd be crying before the movie starts to show 😂
Uh, I think it's "Mancini". It ends with an I, not a Y. I believe you get the point for spelling it wrong like that. He was a composer of "The Pink Panther" and the 1986 Disney classic, "The Great Mouse Detective". He also composed the classic Dolby SR trailer about the chopper since then.
There is something unlike anything else about 3D graphics projected onto film. it's almost magical.
Don't worry, THX is not gonna harm you in this trailer.
without their deep note, this sounds quite peaceful for thx fans that get easily get scared by the deep note.
@@williamsr06 I'm not afraid of the deep note or the THX logo.
@@williamsr06 thx fans dont get scared of the deep note, they worship it!
Hold up! Doesn't Disney own THX since it's part of Lucasfilm?

I activate Polymerization!!!!!!
Wow. It really exists. That's neat. Good thing that THX doesn't have the deep note in this trailer. Thanks for uploading the video.
Two sound systems in one theatre? Interesting setup.
Thx: sorry friend but I'm taking your spot just for right now
Dolby: Alright then but no deep note this time
Thx: no promises
No promises 😂
Sorry friend I’m taking your spot 😂

In the cinemas of the 90s
Wow this is nostalgic, haven't seen this since I was a kid growing up in the late 90s lol
First released on Cats Don't Dance (1997)
Any THX movie in an Act III theatre?
i remember this one fondly
I'm thinking this was to save some film showing time, so they had to make one trailer for the two systems.
Rare!
Is it just me, or is it kind of bizarre seeing Dolby and THX together like this?
That looks almost like dolby egypt trailer.
It is the Egypt trailer
Was this shown in theatrical prints of The Prince of Egypt?
What are the movies that have these two logos?
When I first saw this I was thinking about the deepnote
That was Rare!
No need to have the mute buttons at hand this time!
Or will they
Do you have a 35mm version of the regular Dolby Egypt logo?
United States Cinemas still produce movies in 35mm?
Act III Theaters? Never heard of it (I didn't live in Texas at the time).
Regal bought them out in the late 90s. We had Act III in the Portland Oregon area.
Dustin Zumwalt what do you know about regal u live in greenbrier?!
neat
Do you have any more Act III trailers, such as "Spaceship"?
That's all I have for act III
Like theaters from thanks Jonathan
ODEON S.A. 2003 please
I activate the spell card, Polymerization to fuse Dolby Egypt with Lucasfilm LTD THX to form an Act 3 fusion trailer.

Did THX replace dolby logo
Nope. This was a specially made trailer for Act III movie theaters. THX and Dolby are completely different systems.

I'm confused.
I don’t care if there’s no deep note! That logo itself is enough for me to hit the mute button!
