Be thankful you have first amendment
This is just one of those topics where I have 0 frame of reference for...like, I understand how hard life was as a teenage girl, but changing your gender never seemed to make sense to me (because most teenage boys I knew were terrifying). I know two transgender men who I went to school with before they transitioned, and their lives were incredibly difficult, but I don't think their gender dysphoria was the issue. It just seemed like a prognosis they could use to have some sort of direction in their lives.
Are you familiar with the movie Farewell My Concubine? It tells the tale of an unwanted child who is basically given to the Chinese Opera, preMao. As a radically UNaccepted being, he learns to adopt a different persona via transcending his gender, as a performer. And this type of transcending the binary has gone in since Greek drama, Shakespeare, Broadway... You may actually be more familiar with it than you think because heck, even Tom Hanks did some crossdressing in the 80s on a show called Bosom Buddies 😊
Haim? Jewish?
From Wikipedia, "The name Haim can be a first name or surname originating in the Hebrew language, or deriving from the Old German name Haimo." So it is not necessarily Jewish. Also, what does it matter?

It would be good if Pope Francis would stand up and condemn it but he is too busy worrying about the climate.

I'm Catholic and I agree wholeheartedly that, if the situation is fully as described my lawyer Burke and the actions and motivations of the actors involved are accurately portrayed by the lawyer and there are not other unspoken factors involved, then clearly what is happening at these hospitals is morally wrong and probably illegal (assuming there are laws in place against it). All of that being said, I'm very skeptical of the lawyers claims as to the Biden administration's involvement as she describes it. I do not believe the Biden administration would support this (at least not as described here in this video) without having some valid reason for doing so. These statements by the lawyer strike me as politically motivated.
