I dont care what fandom you all are from, i just want to appreciate how great this song is. It feels like the perfect image of the final moments of death. Melancholic, yet you are satisfied with what you have done and accept your death. Your life's ups and down play as the credits roll with people you love, hate, and people you didnt even know existed. I want to cry and smile at the same time. Its saddening but produces a lot of dopmaine to keep you hooked. I also like how the audio isnt perfect, it reflects the true nature of life: imperfect. Humans are always looking for more, if we had accomplished everything, gained control of the universe, discovered every piece of science there is, it would eventually start to drive us to madness, an endless routine of a perfect life, eventually splitting of to multiple species, and restarting the cycle of imperfection. I play on a 80 year old family heirloom piano it’s not tuned but the sound isn’t half bad it’s just comforting it’s still in pretty good condition too :)
Fallen Down is absolutely something you would hear faintly playing down the hallway of an abandoned school, echoing from an old music practice room where the broken piano has sat, decaying over time. Haunting yet still chillingly beautiful.
As I walk into my old abandoned school, everything was still the same after 37 years. The lockers, the graffiti that my classmates wrote that my teachers couldn't get rid off. I walk to my old classroom. I still remember all the things that happened in this classroom, the good times... As I was staring at the classroom, I heard a faint sound echoing in the hallways, a piano I think. I went down the hallway and I realized the sound was coming from the practice room where my late friend always played all the instruments. The door was open, as I looked inside the room, no one was there but the keys of the piano were moving then they suddenly stopped. A figure formed from the seat and I thought it was demon or another spirit, but it was my late friend, he looked back and smiled at me as he disappeared. (Yes I just wrote this on the spot)

Many of us have went through an "undertale phase". We were cringe, but it taught us to accept more story driven games and the like. It removed this "haha bad game 2d pixel poop lmfaooooo" in me
What I like about this song is that it delivers the feeling of *an* ending. Not *the* end, but one of the many small endings we all face along the way. Chapters of our lives end, and it hurts, sometimes a lot. But you keep going. That’s what the second movement portrays. I remember lying down on the hammock my parents set up at their balcony. The sun was still bright that afternoon so I had to place my arm over my head to shield my eyes. The colors of leaves from the coconut tree next to our house looked beautiful. So did the sunlight that reflected from it. I remember watching my neighbors play basketball at the back window of our house. My parents never let me go out so I was never one to participate in any sport. Sucks how I only realized how beautiful that house was, now that I’ve moved to a new country. That house was a big part of my childhood. My parents told me they moved there just a few days before I was born. I miss my home. And I’m glad I had time to admire the tiniest details from it before saying goodbye.
I've never played Undertale, nor do I truly understand it, but the soundtrack is amazing and, even when I have no reason to be nostalgic over this, it still gives those kinds of vibes. Nicely played, and the out of tune piano makes it even better :]

I'm a pianist and a guitarist :) its a lot easier to start with a piano, then if you want to learn more go to guitar or a type of bass and a simple brass instrument, from there you can branch out

It brings me back to when I could go to school stress free and talk all I wanted about undertale to my friends and we would make stupid jokes and laugh and then I'd go home and watch undertale comic dubs on the tv in my room and listen to the music on my heart locket I got for Christmas, I wish I could go back. Now all my old friends are gone and I just can't find the spark and love for much of anything anymore. I feel so horrible all the time and no matter what I do to feel happy it's only ever a temporary solution and I always go back to feeling like crap. I love the dsmp talk and the undertale talk. In all honesty the smp has a interesting story line and undertale is a wonderful game. I don’t mind sharing a song for both fandoms, because at the end of the day, I can always find out who originally made Fallen Down and it’s origin if I was curious enough.

I learned this song on the piano a few days ago, I knew it was an undertale song but I primarily knew it from ranboo, I decided to start an undertale play through today (I’ve been wanting to for a while so I was super excited) and let me tell you I hardly get emotional at media, but this song had me tearing up and I’d barely been playing the game for an hour, seriously after the fight with toriel and this song started playing I already felt like crying, like oh my gosh I love how this song can bring so much emotion even in completely different contexts!

I dont care what fandom you all are from, i just want to appreciate how great this song is. It feels like the perfect image of the final moments of death. Melancholic, yet you are satisfied with what you have done and accept your death. Your life's ups and down play as the credits roll with people you love, hate, and people you didnt even know existed. I want to cry and smile at the same time. Its saddening but produces a lot of dopmaine to keep you hooked. I also like how the audio isnt perfect, it reflects the true nature of life: imperfect. Humans are always looking for more, if we had accomplished everything, gained control of the universe, discovered every piece of science there is, it would eventually start to drive us to madness, an endless routine of a perfect life, eventually splitting of to multiple species, and restarting the cycle of imperfection. Even down to the time span of a single minute, your brain is rushing with hundreds of emotions at once, imperfect. Imperfection and acceptance is this song, as Bob Ross said: "We need to be a little sad sometimes so we know when the good times come", and this song, is the perfect representation of happiness and sadness in unision, bittersweet, as some would say

Fallen Down is absolutely something you would hear faintly playing down the hallway of an abandoned school, echoing from an old music practice room where the broken piano has sat, decaying over time. Haunting yet still chillingly beautiful.
As I walk into my old abandoned school, everything was still the same after 37 years. The lockers, the graffiti that my classmates wrote that my teachers couldn't get rid off. I walk to my old classroom. I still remember all the things that happened in this classroom, the good times... As I was staring at the classroom, I heard a faint sound echoing in the hallways, a piano I think. I went down the hallway and I realized the sound was coming from the practice room where my late friend always played all the instruments. The door was open, as I looked inside the room, no one was there but the keys of the piano were moving then they suddenly stopped. A figure formed from the seat and I thought it was demon or another spirit, but it was my late friend, he looked back and smiled at me as he disappeared.

I recently got a new piano to replace my 100-year-old, falling apart piano that I was emotionally attached to lmao. It's comforting hearing a piano that sounds like what mine used to sound like.
This video made me realize that I'll never get to experience Undertale for the first time again. That first playthrough was so... magical for me. I'm nostalgic for that time in my life purely because of how much this game meant to me.

I remember lying down on the hammock my parents set up at their balcony. The sun was still bright that afternoon so I had to place my arm over my head to shield my eyes. The colors of leaves from the coconut tree next to our house looked beautiful. So did the sunlight that reflected from it. I remember watching my neighbors play basketball at the back window of our house. My parents never let me go out so I was never one to participate in any sport. Sucks how I only realized how beautiful that house was, now that I’ve moved to a new country. That house was a big part of my childhood. My parents told me they moved there just a few days before I was born. I miss my home. And I’m glad I had time to admire the tiniest details from it before saying goodbye.

It brings me back to when I could go to school stress free and talk all I wanted about undertale to my friends and we would make stupid jokes and laugh and then I'd go home and watch undertale comic dubs on the tv in my room and listen to the music on my heart locket I got for Christmas, I wish I could go back. Now all my old friends are gone and I just can't find the spark and love for much of anything anymore. I feel so horrible all the time and no matter what I do to feel happy it's only ever a temporary solution and I always go back to feeling like crap. I just want to turn back time to when I was watch dantdms live streams of him playing the game and I would sit and watch them In awe for hours and nothing else mattered. All my problems would disappear and I would be there with the characters and just be happy. Why can't I be like that anymore, or, was really always like this to begin with?

Thank you for having no dream ranboo crap for hashtags, so both fandoms can enjoy instead of Undertale being forgotten and only the people who knew it and then stopped likening it and then only 3/7 of the fandom still posts or enjoys it
Slightly out of tune pianos is something I love. Gives music a bit more character. Also this made me realize that my piano is probably slightly out of tune because it sounds exactly like that
I love the dsmp talk and the undertale talk. In all honesty the smp has a interesting story line and undertale is a wonderful game. I don’t mind sharing a song for both fandoms, because at the end of the day, I can always find out who originally made Fallen Down and it’s origin if I was curious enough.

Yeah I first found out the song from Ranboo. Ik some undertale fans will be annoyed because Mcyt fans don't understand the real meaning and stuff like that but people will have their own interpretation of a song, whether it be the original meaning, or something personal to them. While it is sometimes really annoying, we shouldnt gatekeep because at the end of the day, its a great song and it even led me to becoming an undertale fan aswell :]

I learned this song on the piano a few days ago, I knew it was an undertale song but I primarily knew it from ranboo, I decided to start an undertale play through today (I’ve been wanting to for a while so I was super excited) and let me tell you I hardly get emotional at media, but this song had me tearing up and I’d barely been playing the game for an hour, seriously after the fight with toriel and this song started playing I already felt like crying, like oh my gosh I love how this song can bring so much emotion even in completely different contexts!
