I received my first He-man action figure on a Christmas when I was 10 years old in 1982! I still have the same excitement and wonder I did then!

These are just awesome and a nice little what-if scenario - 'what if the toys were based around the TV show back in the day". These are my favourites after the vintage ones.
I have an original He-Man figure, without the armor and weapons and got this new one. It made me worry it looks so different from the original one, that I love and have much more details. But once you get this new figure on your hands, the difference just does not matter, it is beautiful and now I can use the half sword with my old figure. Just amazingly fun.
I love these MOTU vintage filmation style figures because I'm a huge vintage He-Man and the MOTU guy, I love the 5.5 inch scale and there alot easier on my wallet. But the only thing I don't like is that He-Man's power harness is so tight that it won't hold his power sword. But other than that there awesome. Great job on the video and this is the reason why I call u the #MostPowerfulRUclipsrInTheUniverse!!!
I pre ordered mine when they first were set for release. Had mine shipped to the UK. I was so surprised to find that the harness on mine was still set and not come loose.
Sadly mine also had the harness problem. Only way to solve it was using superglue. I think also the skin tone was better on the original and commemorative versions. As far as cards are concerned, Hordak arrived with a bent card. BBTS will only give you a decent clean card if you pay extra for collector grade. Which is something I usually do, but didn't do for this set for some reason. Thanks for the great review.
That power punch looks like he could enter the discus throw at the Olympics. Great looking new figures. I brought a vintage Snout Spout and it didn't have the old leg band. Looked like the new style.
I'm with you about loving the darker tone story of He-Man coming from a tribe of Barbarians (as was exhibited in the first series of comics illustrated by Alfredo Alcala) then the cartoon.
Total nerdy. I love it. Great channel. I' m fortunate to have the original figures from 1983-84, with bruises from my sisters children that is.😕🙃 But many good memories sorround the figures.
I think they will also improve on these with the plastic and paints. This wave had some issues, but look great! :) The new reveals look great, for everything really!
Good video sir. Super 7 he man is probably the closest to the filmAtion. The only thing I think is the cheekbones should be a little lower. Either than that l like. Skeletor super 7 is almost closer to the filmation also. Almost perfection. I don't understand why they stop the super 7 line. This line is almost as better than the origins line. Good video sir.
I never really got into He-Man back in the 80's; I was a 1:18 toy "player." He-man did not fit with Kenner (SW), Fisher Price (Adventure People-loved that line), and Hasbro (GI-Joe-my true 80s love)! I always wanted to start buying Matty Collector, but wouldn't buy anything unless I could get the He-Man figure and whenever I looked, it was sold out or out of stock. Keep up the good work!
What they did with those new He-Man figures is they wanted to come as close as the filmation TV show versus the actual toy line that's why they have kind of a sleeker smoother look and another thing I figured out with the harnessed is that if you undo the center clasp you can tighten up the shoulder strap and then redo the clasp and it'll hold tight

Love the figures and already pre order next waves i got those with the vehicles but the articulation i very difficult to move the legs to sit down in the vehicles but that set you have the ones that i love in the set is She-Ra and Hordak wasnt a big fan of the she ra toys i dont like to collect dolls the one doll i have is the exclusive she ra doll
Had to look at a screencap to even notice that the body harness had a more blue tint and didn't match his weapons on the show. I really thought it was all the same color grey. Great video!
I just wondering, the wrist part of the original He-Man seemd more decorative ... is that so? And Im colorblind, Did the new He-Man looked someway darker, then the Original.. I cant tell, pls, enlight me =), and does the colurs really matter?
The legs should have been ball and socket like the 5.5 Thundercats that were recently released. These straddle well for the beasts or the Battle Ram but can't sit properly for the other styled vehicles. Very disappointed in that. Wanted these for all my vintage vehicles.
I love these, the Filmation esthetic works perfectly on them. My only concern is hopefully going forward Super 7 doesn't use such hard and brittle plastic on the joints and armour, had to use a hairdryer on my He-Man and Skeletor before moving the legs. Nice review.

Battle axe 🪓 armored Heman was my all time favorite

Well done! See... IMO this is how retro figures should be done... it captures the look and feel of the original with a few key changes.

I bought mine directly from Super7. It’s harness is on the figure, guess I’m luck. I love these, they are staying on card on the wall.

I got the filmation version in the battleram and Skeletor in the Land Shark she ra and Hordak their in mid battle in the Evil Horde base

Yeah, that's a deal breaker for me. Also, the split sword with the guard. At a point it feels more like a variant than an animated style retro figure.
