2 things that are not so great in the new design. I keep hitting 8 and with me many other people. And the tempo faders are now not on the lateral sides, like mirrored like before. Now the A-deck has the tempo fader in the right side of the deck. In dark clubs I often misgrap it for the deck fader and we get tracks speeding up and down unintended. This S2 has also limited sound quality, so maybe it is club ready, but i guess for a small club. The tempodaders are tiny and fragile. I like: 8 hot cue buttons and the 3'd deck workaround with the sample button. I am sometimes forced to use the S2 when I fly because the new S4 is too large and heavy for hand luggage on the plane. Been refused many times. I find my self turning back to S4 MK2, because the S2... i find it flimsy and fragile and I am not happy about the options for sound. I also don't like the LPF/HPF filter thing. The old one was just fine.

Hey, Thommy! You certainly could use the Scratch A6 with the Kontrol. For the most part, the Kontrol will give you complete mixing flexibility on the unit itself, along with access to its own software. So, using the A6 would be a bit redundant, but with standard RCA connections on both the Kontrol and the Scratch A6, there’s no reason you couldn’t use them together and do all of your mixing through the A6 software! Hey Tom, good question! I went through the manuals for both the controller and the Traktor software and was unable to find a way to adjust what is read on the meters. I believe them to be hardwired to read the level for the track playing through that channel. If you have further questions, give me a ring! Hello, Roman. Thank you for reaching out about the Traktor Kontrol S2 MK3. According to Native Instruments, Traktor will work with any class compliant iOS device. Meaning it should work with any class compliant audio interface to stream music. The Traktor Kontrol S2 MK3 is not class compliant and will not be supported by an iOS device currently. i am having a problem with lower volume on deck b. tried the same music/file on both decks (same gain on decks)... on traktor pro 3 and traktor dj. have an idea on what is happening? (i could equalize with the gain button, but deck b is 100% gain e deck should be around 50-60%% gain)
MasterBlaster 81, thanks for the question! The Traktor Pro 3 software does have multiple filter options for you to choose from under the mixer tab! By default the FX are set as ‘Insert’, which places them before the Filter so you can do that big sweep on the reverb as well as the track, but you can also choose to have the FX come ‘post fader’, so after the entire channel. piece of junk, disposable. used mine mostly in my house. only taken out to gigs a handful of times. well taken care of. now the jog wheels dont work. i guess its ok if you plan on replacing it in 5 years.
Warning this controller is not suitable for live gigs! The Traktor S2 Mk3 has a very low output line level. This makes unsuitable for playing at live gigs. Why have you not mentioned this in your review?! I purchased and now have to return the product. Warning to anyone wanting to play this device live, don’t! The output level terrible, about 50% of would you need to connect to a club system. NI should hang their heads in shame releasing a product with such a massive flaw. It should come with the warning - "This is a toy, suitable for children only." Could attach an Audio 2 as the output and use that as the main out to a Club system? I know its an extra piece to carry but is that doable? I did a bar gig where I was using DVS cd's with the main output coming from the Audio 2 which could help boost the signal which was plenty for a bar size of like 300 person capacity. I was using an external mixer with 2 CDJ800s on Traktor CD's fyi

whats the conversion rate of the lower track? if it's lower that's your problem hope I helped
