Buenos Dias Maria. It was my great pleasure to find your channel. Love your country (was twice there already), love your hardworking people. Planning on going back very soon. Despite I am fluent in 3 (tres) languages already, the Espanol is not one of them. I dearly need to learn it since I really want to establish my more permanent presence in Colombia 🇨🇴. You are great help. Been in Colombia alone is not easy task already, but without Espanol.....😢
Thank a lot for providing the best free Colombian related language content on RUclips. It helps that you're incredibly easy on the eyes aswell 👀Gotta learn as much as possible before moving to Zipaquirá in June.
Gracias por el video de las jergas colombianas. Colombia, la tierra de las flores y de las mujeres hermosas también. Perdón, es solo un cumplido. La clase estaba muy chévere, gracias otra vez.
There are a lot of wacky Spanish expressions with echar in lots of countries. It seems to be the go-to verb when you want to make a new expression somewhere.
Well, you have covered a lot here, gracias! The only ones i knew beforehand were chevere and "que chimba, parce"....i said that to someone on Tandem and she thought i was a drunk troublemaker from Medellin....i explained that i was from the united states and that i was just playing/practicing.
Yes! I would say make a colombian friend :) maybe through a FB group or even Tinder.. There are many people out willing to do language exchange. Also maybe look for a fb group something like "colombians in + your city/country" Gracias por ver nuestro video!
I'd recommend to stay in a hostel to meet people. Then go to a party at night. Take a tour during the day - I would do Isla Barú. Also, walk around the city and if you like History, visit El Castillo de San Felipe or El Palacio de la Inquisición. Hope this helps!
I am alot new to Colombian spanish and was given a son dichos that goes like this... Entre ceja y ceja , Entre ojo y ojo , Entre perico y perico, Entre diente y diente but no one can give me a straight answer in English as to what it all means can you point me in the right direction?
Hola Maria.
In Germany there it’s also said “I have hunger” There’s a little jingle parents teach their kids „ich habe Hunger, Hunger, Hunger habe Durst.“ Which is “I have hunger, hunger, hunger, I have thirst”
👍👍👍 Awesome!!! Possibly you know the Movie Scarface? They use the word "Cono" like the English word Dude. I guess that would cause trouble using it in Colombia, or ?? Best Regards
Hey! I actually watched that movie recently. But do you mean "coño" lol If so, some people may not like it, but you should go if you are with friends. :)
@@JohnDoe-fz7hz yeah, ITS a bad word everywhere. But cono instead of coño aré to diferent things. Cono Is cone. Coño Is pussy or cunt. Or fuck deppending how you use It. Sorry for bad word 🤣
Yeah but don't most colombian women hate colombian men so why would a colombian man have to learn that. Would be flirting with a European or American male only.
@@LingoMasterySpanish You know I'm right. Most colombian women dream of just leaving and marrying a white american or European. They know that so they travel there like their food shopping. Wonder what they gonna do when they run out of stock
Que chevere! It's so much easier to learn a language when the teacher is beautiful.
Tell me your secret. I have to watch every expression twice because I get lost in her smile.
Been watching 5 mins and I'm at 2:10
Let's be honest that's the only reason you care.
hahahaha omg
