Glad you got one!! Everyone in the St. Louis plant group went WILD the day they restocked. I’ve had mine for probably 8 months and I love it so much! Everything I’ve put in it has thrived. I haven’t put a humidifier or fans in mine and the humidity stays at 80% and I’ve never had any fungal issues so I’m very grateful!

Also for weather stripping & humidity you probably don’t need a humidifier! I used the clear weather stripping that has the flaps, then add a bunch of plants & if you have some in lecca put them in there because that will raise the humidity! Or you can even place some cups of water in but I just have the weather stripping, a bunch of plants & lecca plants & the humidity stays about 90 percent!
It looks awesome! I got a fabrikor ikea cabinet a few months ago and I'm so glad I did - it has been a game changer for my more fussy plants who need higher humidity, like calathea and even some of my more sensitive philodendrons. Hope you love yours, excited to hear an update down the line!!💕

this looks so fun watching this being set up! @Pammy's Planty Things did an amazing set up for her milsbo. she's always detailed and so sweet! she did say she got some of the ideas from planterior decorator as well.
To attach your lights use Neodymium Magnets. I have the same setup as you and it works perfectly! I started with sticky tape too and after a day or two they fell down.
I originally had a fabrikor with the pegboard but I also got a milsbo and decided to try wire grids (from Amazon) for that one and I like it so much more! The grids are less solid looking in the back so it feels more open and I like all of the different options for hanging items versus just the ikea ones for the pegboard.
The greenhouse looks beautiful....and what a perfect spot for it! BTW.....we had an electrician install an electrical outlet in a spot where there wasn't one and it was not very expensive..you should check it out.
I'm excited you got one, I will one day, but need to do some planning first. I think I'd rather have a small humidifier and a tiny water fountain and just forget the weather stripping because I know I'd just get too frustrated with it. I love seeing how everyone does theirs for inspiration :)

Becca, Great work! Your cabinet looks amazing! I would suggest you hire an electrician to get a power outlet installed on your wall. It could not be that difficult because you already have an outlet close by. Yes it is money, but the result would be so beneficial and would resolved all your electric issues. All the best :)

It looks great. I used suction toothbrush holders and baskets from Ikea and I spray painted them. I now have 5 cabinets🤪 but I just did one on my channel recently where I used Fabrikor cabinets. If you have time check it out. It was a lot less expensive than the peg board and I loved how it turned out.
The trick to Ikea stuff is to open all of the hardware and look and ID each piece BEFORE you start to assemble and take each piece of the furniture out and check where the holes are etc. BEFORE you start!! Ask me how I know this!!! My son and I have developed a pretty good system of putting Ikea things together....

To keep up humidity in mine I just put a couple little pots of moist sphag and that did the trick. I think I saw Crazy Plant Guy do that.
