- 15 years after a majority of Californians voted in favor of Proposition 8, banning same-sex marriage across the state, KQED sat down with the two couples who sued to overturn this law. Kris Perry and Sandy Stier, a couple from the Bay Area, were two of the defendants who fought for the right to marry each other and ended up making LGBTQ+ history. The fight against Prop. 8 was a landmark case that ultimately helped lead to marriage equality nationwide. This is the second part in the two-part KQED News series on this history.
Making marriage equal with that which is not marriage is just delusional.
what is marriage?
Should’ve never been passed to begin with. “Marriage equality” was the beginning of the slippery slope of the degeneracy we see today.
Does seem that way. Mr chadbasedredpill.
Everything is the beginning of degeneracy with you people
The Internet, Cable, marriage equality... just stop blaming things you don't like. You're always throwing spaghetti at the wall all the time
Accusation of degeneracy is a slippery slope.
Mental cases on parade...
I bet the butch is a wife beater
Referring to proud boys?
Definitely wouldn’t deem this “Top News,” RUclips.
Gotta push the agenda
@@thomasel9171The agenda of what? Society progressing and not denying equal rights anymore?
That’s Pat.
I'm glad that Prop 8 was overturned and these women were able to get married.
People understand marriage, not civil unions or domestic partnerships. One woman was asked if her long time girlfriend was her maid when they said they're domestic partners

Try taking your problem to Saudi Arabia and see the result!
How does this have any relevance here? Saudi Arabia is not a pinnacle of tolerance and their society is not a good one to emulate
Do as you wish but stop forcing me to not have my own values
How does this affect or have any impact on your values?
@@laurieboldis1537 I'm sure you know the answer
Yup, stop forcing me to accept homophobia and bigotry.

Yes they did. @@annmatthews196
Thank you for coming forward and fighting for the right to love and commit to whoever they wish.
Obviously you would not know what my comment implies.

That's what the Child lovers say: Love is Love.
@@5crassrocker love is love between two consenting adults. Don’t group the LGBT community with those that are sick like that. Blessed be. ❤️
@@Seawitch555 the LGBTHIJKLMNOP cult is inherently pedophilic. Stay away from kids.
That’s is a lovely story. I had no idea.
