  • Update: Just noticed I kept calling these "swash buckle" errors instead of Swash Plate. Too much 3 musketeers I guess.
Also, as confirmed the sensors are on the bottom. It would be nice if anybody changes these to share here how they swapped them. Dealers around here will try to charge you for taking the entire engine out.
I've gotten several different Swashplate errors. They started out with D7527 Swash Plate out of position. But at one point, there was an error they swashplates weren't neutral. The machine would start and auto turn off. This video shows how to at least get the machine to move. Note with these wires disconnected, the machine runs about 1/2 speed. But at least you can get it loaded on a trailer.
Update 2: This is only if you're in a bind and need to get the machine loaded. This is NOT intended to do to continue and use the machine normally. As pointed out in the comments, there could be issues going on which could cause major damage if you disable these sensors and use the machine.
Comments have been changed to require approval. If you have something helpful to add, please do so. However, this was to help others, not moderate disrespectful comments from mental midgets with nothing better to do in life than try to build themselves up criticizing others.

Those electronic components on the top side of the pump are control solinoids. The sensors are on the bottom, under steel sensor covers. Gotta say, those sensors are effing buried so wish me luck bc that's what I'll be doing tomorrow.. Yaay. Your video on the work around was very helpful as I'd like to get this beast inside to do the job. So.. Thank you!

did you find the cause of your problem, i'm having this problem with right side sensor , replaced sensor but still have problem.

Yeah. There are little control linkages inside the pump housing that wear out. Little plastic bushings. I installed new bushing and linkage and haven't had a problem since. You also have to zero the sensor. Which I did several times. But that was my problem. The sensor would not return to the neutral position so the ecm reads an out of position code.

Did you have to pull the motor and pump out of the machine to replace the bushings and linkages

I have been getting an out of position error at random and machine shutdown then start it right back up and keep going untill it happens again. It's been that way for about 6 months. About 30min ago it did it again and now it almost immediately shuts down after starting with a swashplate not in neutral error

Yes.. Ideally you pull the drive train.. But it's not too bad if take your time and don't rush..

Lord … Swash buckle🤦 and those connectors he points to are the drive forward and reverse coils.. swash plate sensors are on the bottom of the hydrostatic pump

Swash buckle was incorrect, clearly explained above. Connectors are correct for getting the machine to run to load it. Or worked for mine. If this doesn't work for you, please do your own video, link it and be helpful instead of putting others down? Please share a link so we can come "critique" it for you. The point of this video was to save somebody from having to pay the tow vultures or a dealership from coming to get your machine. This wasn't to fix any issue, it was to get a machine loaded. First time it happened I got stuck in the machine and had to crawl out the back. Then went to the dealer which had "experts" like you seem to be and same thing happened again in the woods because they didn't fix the problem and actually damaged the warning harness sticking probes in it. We had to get it out and loaded and to another dealer.

Yes, keith is right but the engine with pumps is relitively easy to remove. I disconnected the sensors and then had to replace both pumps because of the metal debris in the system. So before you just disconnect these sensors make sure they're not trying to tell you something important.
