Resort fees🤣OMG that was the funniest part. The gall that they would charge resort fees. Ive stayed at some dives on 192 when I was young but this place takes the cake.
There are enough amenities missing/closed/not usable (I'm curious as to whether the video game arcade still exists/has anything functional) that disputing the resort fee with your credit card might be feasible.
@@LeeAnn-j3iNo, they just charge you...even if the amenities aren't available. I stayed at this place in January 2008. It cost more than $17/night, maybe $40-$50. It was clean and decent and seemed to have been recently renovated. It still felt a bit sketchy but nothing unsafe. The main thing I remember is two different DVD rental machines in the lobby (I think by the restaurant, which was also closed when I went) - one for "family" movies, and one for "adult" movies. The "family" movie machine was full, while the "adult" movie machine had most slots empty with an indication that the movies were checked out.
Seralago before the pandemic (2018-19) was a decent cheap bed with no bedbugs and Disney surplus furnished. The worst thing I remember was a family of raccoons in the ice machine outside. It was $25 a night then, if it's $17 now the quality must have taken a more serious dive.

This is obviously an owner that just doesn’t care. He’s likely using the hotel as a front for something. It also means the manager can’t do anything because the owner won’t give them the money. I worked in hotels for twenty years and NEVER saw a hotel this bad. Maintenance is obviously not even a thing at this place. Honestly the whole place needs to be vlosed down and completely remodeled.
I loved watching this video! I stayed at this exact hotel as a child. Back in 1981. It was a Holiday Inn. I knew watching this that it was familiar. I remember the vacation very well as does the rest of my family. We were there for a convention for my dads work. Back in the 80’s it was top of the line. It’s pretty interesting watching these videos and seeing how things change over the many years. Thank you for doing this one. Quite sure I won’t stay there now. Ha.
NO. I would not stay there. I hope you disinfected everything that you took into that room. Better yet, just burn it. And, get a tetanus booster. Stay safe and eat your vegetables, Ryan! 😃
That looks like what was the Roomba Main Gate years ago. I worked for the company in Daytona and went down there to do a corporate inspection. After inspecting about 100 rooms, i called it quits. It needed major repairs....
I learned that the difference in as little as $20 can make the difference between shady and disgusting to relatively basic but clean. Hotel/motel stays, it is ALWAYS worth it to spend more for safety and clean.
Stayed here in 2007-ish. Even back then it was the cheapest value option. I was very young and paying for the trip myself so very much worth it at the time. It was still relatively clean. Very basic. The amenities were ALREADY falling apart back then though. Not surprised it declined as hard as it did.
@leocatcruises It use to be a hotel near downtown Orlando. It was also a gay bat and then called a gay resort. It was on a small lake and that is where the volleyball court was. It was actually nicer than the one in this video. You can Google Parliament House Orlando if you are interested.
Thank you for sharing this! I stayed at Seralago back in 2007. Stayed in the last room (ground floor) just before you walked round the bend to the 2nd pool, opposite the tennis courts. To be honest, whilst the rooms were very basic they were pretty clean and the only issue I had was the chain lock on the door was very loose, so much that I reckon if you charged at the door it would have come right off. Sad to see it in its current state. Given the location and the size of the land I think it would be the ideal place for regeneration.
Thats the same one me and my aunt stayed in way back in 1980. The hot water wouldnt stop in the sink and nobody noticed till the next morning when we woke up ankle deep in water. Wait, that was the motel near Disneyland in California.
I used to stay there a few times a year, it was a lot more than $17, but it was decent. It was old and getting run down but still OK. Two years ago in January, we had a cold blast here in Florida and my room had no heat. All they did was give me some extra blankets. I haven't stayed there since and it sounds like it's really gone downhill since.

Also, I have also wondered what this hotel is like because we have driven past it so many times.
…I’ve watched videos of people exploring abandoned hotels that look better than this.
Wow. You are brave. I could not lol. Love your videos!! 💖
More than likely part of the Patel family syndicate
This was so good. You need more subs!
haha everything has been cleaned 😅
Thank you so much for watching me suffer 😭🙏
That looks like what was the Roomba Main Gate years ago. I worked for the company in Daytona and went down there to do a corporate inspection. After inspecting about 100 rooms, i called it quits. It needed major repairs....
This should be the Hotel all the Immigrants are forced to live at if they enter America illegally 😂47BLOKFacts
Exactly
They’d think they are in heaven. It’s better than the barrios they left.
You're cracked out. Pizza Hut is freaking awesome!!!
I learned that the difference in as little as $20 can make the difference between shady and disgusting to relatively basic but clean. Hotel/motel stays, it is ALWAYS worth it to spend more for safety and clean.
No no no never lol. But so happy you exposed this horror place !!!
Maybe this is like a 5-star in India?
Do they typically hold the French Open in central Florida?
Stayed here in 2007-ish. Even back then it was the cheapest value option. I was very young and paying for the trip myself so very much worth it at the time. It was still relatively clean. Very basic. The amenities were ALREADY falling apart back then though. Not surprised it declined as hard as it did.
That would be a steal using the RV to just park there and boondock. LOL
That volleyball court reminded me of the one behind Parliament House😅
What is Parliament House??
My brother wonders why i don’t stay at the cheaper places. When we go in September.
Disney Resorts and the Universal ones don’t look like this lol.
I could stop laughing at this concept!! Great idea!!
NO!!!
Also, the fact that I’ve heard that there have been legit meth labs in this place welp, you nailed it sir. That opening made me literally LOL
Maybe someone was trying to help brighten up the room and make the walls whiter with their special sauce. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I made it to the end!!!
“Walter White and Jesse Eisenberg” has me never watching another of your videos.
