The fact that a bed is significantly bigger than your body. A mattress is bigger than your body, and a bedframe to hold the mattress must, by the laws of physics, be bigger than the mattress.

Get this man a futon. No not the american sofa bed, a futon as used by the Japanese. It is common practice to stow away the futon bedding to allow the space to be open. I understand his desire to NOT have the room dominated by a bed.

That’s how a lot of people live in Japan. I lived there for 2 years in a two room apartment. The rooms were separated by sliding paper doors. One room had the traditional tatami straw flooring with spacious closets with wide under-storage. This is where I kept my futon, blankets, and pillow during the day. Beds are popular in Japan, but the more minimalistic futon continues to be popular today. As a bonus, embracing the old school style meant my apartment was able to look super stylish and feel normal to spend time in when not sleeping

You can layer multiple duvet blankets and make them into a sort of twin bed, then roll them up and put them out of the way. There is also a loveseat sized fold out seating. Or an extra wide lounge chair with wide ottomon... it was super comfy to sleep on one of those, and Im a princess for comfort. We used to just layer quilts on the floor when family came to visit. Since a normal bedframe won't find in front of the windows, he should build a platform to squish a mattress on top of. If he looks a bit longer, perhaps he could find a mattress with 190-195cm instead of 200

Oh man he's not even trying. It's cool to not want a bed, less cool to make up excuses and dare people to prove you wrong. Especially when it's not even that hard lol. Just own up to your preference, there's no superiority here.

Oh plzzzz all you did was rearrange into the same layout. I challenge you to add a build-in wardrobe near the door.
Show us how you will have a 1.7 meter long table + 2m bed + wardrobe all within the idea of fengshui.
Cuz that’s the situation many school doms students face.

What is the original video? Cuz I’m all ur iterations… a bed would take up too much space so I understand the kid’s conclusions and u kinda prove it

There are even bunk beds where you have a desk AND a closet for your clothes built in! But one can simply build it yourself...
