Silverback Gorilla Upala Ignores Lengai After Getting His Red Hammock

In this video, silverback gorilla Upala has just received a brand-new red hammock, and he seems to be absolutely smitten with his new toy, rarely wanting to leave it.
However, silverback gorilla Lengai is not pleased with Upala’s monopolization and repeatedly tries to push him off the hammock to show his discontent.
Meanwhile, on sunny days, Meru enjoys taking strolls outdoors, while Monza, affected by a cold, is less active.
Ngoro and Akiki continue to maintain a distant relationship, with Ngoro preferring to stay by the pond in the hot weather.

Lengai really wanted to play with Upala 😂😂😂. So cute how he sat in front of him nibbling on Upala!! These two "boys" crack me up. Ngoro's facial expressions just make me laugh so hard. Whoever said bachelor groups of handsome Silverbacks were not interesting to watch made a very ill informed comment and obviously never watched a well adjusted group as these guys.
They are indeed a fantastic bachelor troop♥️🦍👍👍. Each gorilla has its own personality, and they share a strong bond. They play together and comfort each other when feeling down🫂, which is truly precious. What makes this troop particularly endearing to me is that they are all very handsome. They are the best group of adorable babies🥰 I've ever seen among gorillas.♥️💋🦍🦍

It really is interesting to view the interactions between the bachelors. When females an babies are not in the picture they are more carefree because they aren’t worried about protecting the females. As far as I know, Ngoro is not a twin🤓. I will check the information, and if he is a twin, I will let you know🤝🤝. Upala and Lengai have a great bond and often play together😂😂. Akiki and Ngoro sometimes have a close relationship, but other times, not so much😅🦍♥️.

Wow, quite amazing, this is the first time i've seen multiple silverbacks living in the same structure! They look quite "peaceful" with each other. Are they related? Do they have big fights sometimes?
They are part of a bachelor troop with two groups. The Lengai group consists of four silverbacks: Lengai and Meru are siblings, while Monza and Upala are not related to them. However, they have all been living together for 12 years♥️. The other group has two silverbacks, Ngoro and Akiki, who have also been living together for 12 years♥️. They don't actually fight but often play together.👏♥️🦍👍

They live at the zoo in Amnéville, France. There are two bachelor troops: one group of four consisting of Lengai, Meru, Monza, and Upala, and another group of two consisting of Ngoro and Akiki. Among them, Lengai and Meru are brothers with a blood relationship. The other gorillas have no blood relation, but they have lived together for 12 years and share a deep bond.🤝🤝🦍♥️
