Great video! I have a question about DPC latency. If i'm using an audio interface and asio4all drivers, do i need to worry about dpc latency when buying a laptop? Thanks!
Hi! Bro i plan to buy the MSI GF 13 for making beats on FL Studio and slight gaming. Its only around 900 on Amazon. It has i7 CPU w/ RTX 4070 GPU. 16GB RAM. Would you recommend? And is there a lot difference than the GF15 you recommended in the video?
Just bought a Lenovo Legion 5 16 gb ryzen 7 and it was working great + very fast for literally 1 day then it totally bricked up and died with BSOD as of right now i would warn all producers to not buy any 2021 Lenovo products they are defective and unusable more often than not so it doesnt matter how powerful the specs are...just a fyi
Right now I'm using an XPS L502x that I bought around10 years ago. Yes it still works mostly because I did not use it much for about 6 years as I had an XPS desktop . One thing good about it is the onboard sound even though I have an audio tnterface. A couple years ago I bought an inspiron 5570 and it is way worse than this ancient one. The onboard sound and screen are awful and now even my audio interface doe not work properly with the inspiron. so my only advice is stay away fron Dell inspirons.
Yes they are the best in my opinion for laptops. because not only can they do Music Production but whenever you’re ready to edit videos for RUclips or do music videos you have that power to.
@@30killabeatz okay thanks really appreciate it do u have any recommendations for microphones I can use for songs but that come with an adapter? so than I can use it on my phone than get a laptop
i think gaming laptops arent good choice as gaming laptops comes with dedicated graphics card which is completely unnecessary for music production ... but for music prod. you need a laptop with higher cache memory as it would let you to run numerous vsts at same time so check for that and higher storage also
I'm somewhat new at music editing. Looking for a laptop that would be appropriate for this, I'm not versed with Apple computers so I prefer to stay away from them. You recommendation please. Thank you Skip
Very useful and in depth review, but when I check for those laptops on Amazon, they are all way above $1000... it that part of a recent general boost in price or should I look elsewhere? (I am in Canada) thanks
I love how Rappers sit here explaining this when they use pre recorded audio, loops, and synth. They aren't even aware that Metal is recorded way differently. Guitars are layered. You have to scope out the eq's and carve out the sound with compression and wideners. Bass too. Vocals too. When recording metal you can wind up with 30 to 40 tracks at the end of each song. With VSTs and plug ins running for days. And yet.... here we are. Download a sound. Throw it in the daw. Download another sound... And repeat. Real great musicians aren't they? I spent my whole life working on learning each and every instrument and then learning to track them in key and mix and produce them properly. Now.... Its just fake...
Things evolve dumbass and I'm glad that your whining about it so keep crying loser. Plus this is for TRAP music and if you know anything about trap or rap in general, rap was born from pre recorded sounds. Samples, loops, etc. This is how the genre HIP HOP was born.

@bangbang300 Maybe one day you'll stop thinking with your rear end and use your brain. Maybe one day you will stop compensating with excuses to defend your pride in order to find beauty in all things for lack of a better standard. Maybe one day you will learn to apply yourself to something for years on end that actually takes effort time and practice. Maybe one day you will learn the struggles and respect of learning a skill set and having the discipline and courage to back it up. Maybe one day you will stop moaning and groaning about how HARD everything is demanding everything to be easy on you like some spoiled brat, maybe one day you will be educated and strong and capable of so much more. Maybe one day you will raise the bar rather than deliberately drop it and complain about how life is just not fair enough for you. Maybe one day you will recognize your not the prime standard of sanity understanding knowledge awareness and comprehension and you will humble yourself and learn that there is actual wisdom to be found taking the road that makes you bleed to accomplish something. If you want an example... I write a great song all by myself and it took me 15 years to get good at all the instruments to learn to record and produce that all on my own. And I still have so much to learn. I didn't take the easy way out. I didn't lean on anybody to get where I am. I stood on the side of the road and I starved and nearly died for this shit. You know nothing of the dedication determination and hell I went through to put my life on the line for my music. Your just a loop Downloader who never learned anything at all. You didn't spend years on end getting harassed and bullied for failure after failure like the rest of us. So shut up about things you don't know.
