About Me:
My bio is pretty random: In short, I am a professional singer/songwriter from Toronto, Canada who moved to Manila, Philippines which sorta became my Hollywood because my first RUclips channel MIKEYBUSTOSVIDEOS grew popular due to Filipino comedy videos. Meanwhile, I'm also a big biology geek who is obsessed with ants, so I built an internationally operating ant business supported by another popular channel called ANTSCANADA, and well basically, today I travel and tour around the world doing what I love so I wanted to start this vlogging channel, in hopes to encourage you guys to follow your dreams no matter how random, by showing you what happened when I followed mine! You just never know where life will take you when you listen to the yearnings of your heart!
I can still remember you in the condo talking & dreaming about gatherings in the Mabuhay Squad Farmhouse and now it’s reality ❤

I grew up in Canada , my Dad is Indonesian and my Mom Scottish/Irish. We had no other Indonesians in our small town so the Filipino community adopted my Dad as one of their own. Filipinos know how to party, the karaoke, laughter and food remind me of my childhood
Looking back Indonesia is pretty much our ancestors. If you look at the language, looks, and culture. It’s pretty similar. Filipinos pretty much came from Indo and Malay race.

I’m 40 im Korean in the USA and I struggle from severe anxiety but if I ever get better from it visiting you would be a dream vacation lol. You and RJ make life bearable. Thank you keep on keepin on.

I have to say, your dad's joke of the day was a pretty good one haha I bet he made it on the spot. Also, I don't think you need to worry that your papaya tree broke because I think new leaves would grow to replace the ones that were broken off.
That cat that has been hanging around your property might be a feral as it doesn't seem to trust humans. Birds might loathe to land on the ground with that cat around though, but I believe the birds would recognize the threat the cat poses to them so they'd know to avoid venturing to the ground, and some species are aggressive enough to drive away cats, like the Philippine Pied Fantail.
I looove bamboos, too. They remind me of my Papa’s encouraging words: Be pliant like a bamboo 💙🙏🏽 I looove your family, friends and your elegant, magnificent Mabuhay Farm. Hi Mikey and RJ!! I love the get togethers starting at the Mabuhay Squad Farmhouse for 2023. I'm sure for the next coming weeks leading to the arrival of Joe and his family and your relatives, there will be more get togethers. Mark Matsuyama and his family, Judy and her family, the Pinoyboy and AC team. I will always be looking forward to your vlogs. Coming from a big family from my grandma's side, I'm missing the get together of all my relatives in our province.
I hope you're still considering building the brick oven outside the house by Edmark. That way you can have pizza and other delicious food cooked there.
The breeze in the province is really wonderful, especially in your property where there are a lot of trees. You can put a hammock under the acacia trees and take a nap.

what you're feeling in the vlog is exactly how i feel as well when we have reunions. it's that elated kind of happy because there's just lots of laughter, drinking, eating and of course singing 😆 then the next day after the party, when everything has calmed down, there's just that peaceful kind of happy that envelops your heart and it makes you reflect on how lucky you truly are to have such wonderful people in your life 😊 never take your loved ones for granted ❤

Suddenly craving for buko pie 😓
If you want to make friends with the feral cats, you put down food especially for them in a big enough dish that they can share, and then you go and sit on the ground about 20 or 30 feet away and just sit quietly or talk in a high-pitched voice very gently about how much you love cats and how you wish some beautiful cats would come and eat. Then gradually you get closer and closer to the food when you sit down for your little routine. If you put out water, be sure to put it away from the food a little bit. Carnivores will often not drink near where they eat because in the wild the pond can be contaminated from decaying corpses.
My mouth watered when u took that Hennessey lmao. Im not a drinker but when i drink Hennessey is a top choice but it definitely hits me in the jaw and warms all the way down.

It's great to see the people your closest to in the house, FINALLY!!!!
And all the food. Damn I miss Filipino food. Buko Pie, waaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh, I want Buko Pie. My first time trying Buko Pie was the day after I got married in Mandaluyong. My wife, also Filipino, surprised me with a day trip with all of the family, to Cavite and Tagaytay. That was the first time I saw Taal. We stopped on the way back at a famous Buko Pie bakery along the twisty turney road coming from Tagaytay after going to Padre Pio outdoor Cathedral. The Buko Pie was still warm out of the oven. I had my first bike of Buko Pie in the van while we drove, and OHHHHHHHHHHHH MANNNNNNNNNN. I've always loved apple pie, but Apple Pie has to take the back seat when Buko Pie is around, which is funny because I got Apple Pie there at a grocery store, and my wife and family had never had apple pie before and loved it, although they found it a little sweet. It was made with a Filipino twist of extra sugar, hahahaha. I explained to them that apple pie is supposed to be tart with apples that are sweet, but with not much sugar in it. Only enough sugar to partially carmalize the pie as it bakes. I brought some small apple pies the next time I went to the Philippines and they liked the Canadian Apple Pie much more.
Mikey, I was thinking in this video that you should have a BBQ on the patio outside the kitchen. You mentioned it about 10 minutes after I thought about it. Definitely get one. The cooking that can be done on a BBQ there, all year round, Uhhhhhhhhhhhhh, I miss the Philippines sooooooooooooooo much. The pandemic has made it 3 years since I was there and held my wife. I hope and pray I will get there this year for a visit. I truly miss being there. I'm from Canada, born and raised, but the Philippines feels more like a home to me than Nova Scotia does, in fact more than all of Canada does. I greatly miss being there!!!!!!!!
