1,100 Days: The Rise and Fall of Team Liquid
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 3 янв 2022
- Team Liquid broke records in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive in 2019 where we won the Intel Grand Slam in record time with our core team of ELiGE, nitr0, and NAF. Alongside Stewie2k and Twistzz, the sky was the limit for our team until we struggled to keep up with the CS:GO competition over the next couple of years. We made roster changes to reach that same peak success and worked with incredible players like Grim and Fallen, but it wasn't enough until the team disbanded in 2021. This is the story of the meteoric rise and unfortunate fall of one of the most legendary North American CS:GO teams to ever do it.

its that easy huh?
@@angb8182 also he is talking about the Liquid players - which in my point of view - are some of the best players of the world ( Elige, Naf, Stew? Sheeesh )
@@angb8182 So totally possible for them to change the mindset and become champions ( once again ), just as it happened with S1mple
@@eduardowormittag2113 except simple has now Team he can fully rely on.
Sheesh
Can we appreciate that Liquid is willing to make a video that isn't all about success and sunshine? Like I'm really glad as an outsider to get a glimpse of what had happened in the past year for Team Liquid especially the sad moments and the problems they faced. Not all orgs are willing to show the public what actually happened behind the scenes. Thank you Team Liquid for sharing such a great documentary and wish your team will gain more success in 2022 with the new roster.
the rise and fall is always a great type of series
Appreciate deez nuts
They know this will get a lot of views the same way if the the score esports uploads this it gets a mil views
@@StriaghtRight It's true, but at the same time, they can just focus on the good or neutral things and briefly brush through the bad stuff within the team. And they have all the rights to do so as well. But they didn't, they show what actually happened (tho may not be everything) including the bad stuff, which as a liquid fan, would want to know.
So now there it is, the final episode of my last year's fav netflix series. What a run, gentlemen. I'm gonna miss so much this lineup, and i only wish the best for each one of them.
couldn't find better words
Cringe!
@@47gaming7 nothing cringe about it, what is though are your mw montages. nothing cringe about him thanking the team for doing their best for 1100 days
Garbage lineup that did not achieve shit. Waisted a ton of time, fucked up a legends legacy even more and the future of a promising up and coming player. Tl should be ashamed that they let this farce happen in the first place and also for letting int go on for as long as it did. Al they won was a fucking summit where the only decent team they had to beat was a limping furia without heni and with junior serving as the cement they use so bodys dont float to the surface. Glad its gone now give me washed up shox and a guy who went to valorant but came back cause he sucks even there. Good job liquid hope you proud of never getting to the top 10 ever again cause i sure am.

Legends aren’t defined by their successes, they’re defined by how they bounce back from their failures -Naf
Well I hope they finally bounce back, bcz its Been 2 years since they won any big tournament.Hopefully they Can but I think its gonna be very hard for them to win any global tourney, with how this year is gonna be competetive.
I saw the pain in Grim's eyes when he was talking about what Stewie's said in the interview. He deserves a big big hug.So much love for him
It's unbelievable that an org would be willing to put out such content. This is one of the best videos about CS ever done in the history of the game.
Thank you Team Liquid.
seems unrealy to not have stewie on liquid anymore. truely going to miss this lineup #LetsGoLiquid

I am one of your followers and fans from 🇵🇭. When Nitro and Twitzz is leaving there is a big difference. One of the most important of the team is the good chemistry to all players. Not just their individual talent. Without Stew TL.will not be in the Major. Now Stew is leaving I don't know if TL will be on Top Tier Team

video would’ve been a lot better with Twistzz was included
Probably 1up, their in-house production team

26:30 - facts by fallen. visit this time stam when appropriate in the future

I swear Grim did not deserve any of this. Brother was tearing a new asshole before he joined liquid. I hope we will see him continue in T1 and play his roles.
Looks like Complexity is in the works.
legit cried during the Fallen monologue. love this team cant wait to see what happens next! Let Go Liquid!
Wish twistzz was in this a little bit more, but this was absolutely amazing to watch. Thank you team liquid and hoping for a strong 2022
Yeah kinda dirty how they did him especially since he was with the team for so long.
@@BW4LL they can't really get him to be in this video because he's in faze now
They made have fallen but 2019 Liquid did something no one in the world has done
63 day gran slam and was number 1 in the world.
No matter what Liquid will be a team that remembered in history
Nah, dude, Fallen’s gone
@@NeroSoneca i meant that they have fallen like they fell off not that they still have Fallen

Fallen's words is something that Liquid players have to print on their heads: It's the mind, you lose you learn, one day you'll win
I miss the 2019 roster. A bunch of NA gunners, such an exciting team to watch and support. Still have my jersey from that year. I’m ready for 2022. Let’s go Liquid
Me too. It was such a good time. I'm a big puss and cried so much during that year. It was tears of joy. In 2021 I cried because I knew it was over.
Im really gonna miss last year's roster. It was just the perfect one for me but it did not just meet expectations either way gl on 2022!
2019's roster is the best one imo :)
@@bot8079 objectively it is
I’m new to CS. This iteration of Team Liquid was the first team I’ve supported, breaks my heart seeing it end like this. GGWP, thanks for the games.
Make sure to watch some NiP and Virtus Pro documentaries.
A lição do professor em 34:30 me emocionou demais
end of astralis and liquid… what an era of csgo…
NAVINATION
Such an amazing video. Perfect insights and a really insipiring team. Hope everyone from this roster reach where they wanna reach as an individual and own in tier 1 cs.
Fallen said it so perfectly. "The team wanted to go back to how they were during Grand Slam Year." But that isn't not ever going to be possible with different players it just isn't. You can't take our the rook in chess and replace it with a queen and expect to play the same way, just not how it works.
I know what you mean but that analogy doesn’t work. A queen is superior to a rook in every way
Swap the rook with the queen and the analogy works
@@Kerm88 I'm sure he's talking about mid-game position
Stopped watching cs long ago but this team always gave me goosebumps thinking about. All great guys in and out of the game. An Era ending.
This was one of my favorite teams to watch and they honestly got me back into cs after a long time. Sad to see them go but I am excited for a new Team Liquid and to see where Mike, Stew, and Fallen go in the future.
The whole thing about Nitro just convinced me even more that he's coming back. Especially since twistzz didn't even get one word about him in the entire documentary
ngl twitzz not getting mentioned at all kinda annoyed me
@@sealsteaks3300 I guess it kinda explained itself with his comments in the top 20 article. "Before joining FaZe I forgot what a healthy environment looked like, this team has a very positive aura around it at all times and people enjoy the presence of each other."
what a wonderful journey this core has gone through. excited to see what 2022 will hold for team liquid!
I got to say. Watching this team from its beginning was also my beginning. I learned so much and fell in love with the game because of Team Liquid. I grind because of Team Liquid and all of the iterations of Team Liquid defiantly developed my personality and the way I think about life/ the game today. All I have too say is that over the years of being a die hard fan I love this team and wish one day to be apart. So much love goes out to those guys. Ill never stop supporting.
What a run, from all the ups and downs and rollercoaster of emotions it was truly a joy to watch these guys play. I know Stewie will do well on EG and Grim on Complexity, and hopefully Fallen as well on whatever he chooses to do next. I'm excited to watch this next chapter with oSee, Shoxie and of course the return of Nitr0. Good luck to everyone in 2022, and we'll all be rooting for them #LETSGOLIQUID
Part of the Journey is the end, a wild and crazy one, but no doubt it was a pleasure to have witness every bit of it.
Méga sadge but excited for new beginnings. Great to hear the players give their raw, unedited takes on the situation. Hearing Fallen's thoughts on their (lack of) success was super interesting!
2019 Liquid was truly something else. I don’t have high hopes for 2022 but hoping we can build back what we had and rise stronger in the end :D
big love for Grim ❤️❤️❤️ 31:13
So this is it huh....
Thank you Professor for everything... Changing our players mindsets at every hurdle making us be better at every loss or win...
Thank you Stewie for being truthful, the glue of the team of sorts and all your smoke criminal plays
Thank you Gr1m for doing your best, your work ethic is one of the best from rookies and even from some players in tier 1, you'll go on to do great things.
Wish nothing but the best to every single one of you❤️
GL in 2022, will miss this lineup for sure, but I’m hella excited to see you in this year❤️
Comecei a acompanhar o Team Liquid depois da entrada do Fallen e instantaneamente comecei a admirar a organização. Desejo que volte ao topo novamente com todo meu coração.
what a great watch! such a good doc from the production team. GO TL :)
Such a sad ending to such a legendary lineup. I'm hoping we hit new all time highs in 2022. #LETSGOLIQUID

Massive respect to the entirety of both the 2019 and 2021 rosters. So sad to see everyone leave, especially stew.
I know this day would come, but I am still very sad. Surely everybody made a good dicision for their future and I wish everybody best of luck. Thanks for these amazing Vlogs, its been such a pleasure to follow you guys. :)
Fallen is an actual Legend lol.
Stew is going to EG, Complexity signed Grim
very good video sad we wont ever see the 2019 liquid lineup again but the new version of liquid I am excited for especially since we are got shox
Good luck in the coming years and I sincerely hope these kind of things won't happen again, don't want any team to deal with dramas.
This video is an amazing mini-documentary about the team we've loved to watch over the past 3 years, but I gotta be honest I'm still hoping for a farewell tribute for each of the departing players from Liquid. Maybe for Stewie I was just hoping to see something like what Twistzz and nitr0 got. Individual, touching farewells. But, maybe I'm just being greedy because the film was still great. Here's to a great year.
it's been a blast to watch this team and this was a cool way to say goodbye. thanks for the memories and best of luck to the boys
I already know this one is going to be epic. I will definitely miss your vlogs :')
2019 was my first year watching CSGO pro scene. I love to support an underdog team and chose to root for Liquid since their rivalry against Astralis. It was a right choice for me and witness a greatest period of NA CS. I will still root for Liquid and the team where the boys left to. Let's make it happen again. :)
Probably that was be my favorite line up ever, thank you guys for everything 🥰
what an era we live in. we will always remember this amazing roster lineup. #TeamLiquid
This core and every member of the roster over the past few years has been wonderful and provided an amazing experience for fans of CS everywhere. While I am sad that three more members are moving on from the team, I am just going to be glad that this all happened. Can't wait to see Liquid and all of the departing guys bounce back and find success again.
Crazy roster, incredible highs and low, gg boys and wish the best to all
I just wanna hear fallen spread his wisdom
“Fall” is a strong word. Liquid placed very well with the team they had on hand, things didn’t live up to expectations, but were always constantly in the mix or close to winning games. Not being able to close is one thing, but y’all kept it competitive. Everyone will find their fits in the right orgs and good luck to everybody!
Through all the ups and downs man, it’s been fun guys
I remember seeing this Stew in 2019 and thinking where he came from and what he would do with liquid and its really unfortunate to see him go separate ways. The 2019 roster was seemingly NA's last hope at a ERA within CSGO but who knows what's in store for the future. #Letsgoliquid
so cool, cant wait for the next iteration
Good video! Really like this documentary and just waiting to see next year !!!
best team in na all time
i'll miss you guys so much, all the memories watching team liquid play and make those crazy plays, it's been a journey. but anyway goodluck to team liquid and the players departing.
To the golden 5 roster in 2019 and grim and fallen.
😭
Fallen dando aulas sempre... Que homem!
I'm looking forward to finding out what the benched players are going to do next. And of course how the new Team Liquid will do.
I'm gonna miss this lineup even they didn't win any tournament they gave us good emotions and feelings i wish all of them who are not anymore TL the best luck!
TL sure knows how to handle they interviews and youtube channel, I'm going to miss this lineup - farewell
Can't wait to see whats next for Team Liquid. Best of luck!!!
goodbye to my favourite core in cs, liquid grandslam lineup wsa the first team i watched when i started watching cs in 2019, there were big up, and big down.
i am hoping 2022 is our year with shox osee and ur 5th,
1100 days? I still think about jdm, nitro, hiko and elige when someone mentions team liquid.. and stewie is always in a c9 jersey in my head ...
Yeah and fallen with SK jersey...
gonna miss this line up, TL💯
You guys forgot about adren, who is also a crucial part of the roaster
if im remembering this right wasnt jokasteve the League of legends manager and was asked to be the stand in manager for the CS team right. for a bit? anyways its been so long and all the versions of TL rosters always brought me joy watching even through the highs and lows im there, and i think i will always be there rooting for best organization in esports.!
Super well made video, made me sad about a lot but hype for nitr0 transfer
Stewie said what he said and maybe it was blunt but maybe there was something stewie saw in grim and just like grim said it lit a fire under him and that's all you can do is put in everything you got and keey on trying. All that matters is that grim feels he put everything on the line and gave it his best shot.
Its been a wild ride gentlemen. Was such a pleasure supporting this roster since 2019. Good luck further stewie, fallen and grim :)
I only watched this today since i was really busy too but after watching The part after They talk about Beating Astralis, FalleN's words Were very wise love the guy hope he has a great Future for him
sad to see the old liquid go, but I'm excited to see what the future brings

Aaah it hurts 😢 My Fav Series(Vlogs) is comin to an end 💔
Can't believe that so much of this happened that long ago it really feels like yesterday
The caster for nafs clutch against ence at kato major 2019, Fun fact. I played in his team. Nice guy as well (his name is vince)
hell yeah baby wooooo idk how strong this roster really was but there was some pieces of the puzzle tht didn't really like fit i think grim wasn't a huge asset to the team & stew had to like fill in for an igl, or the entry frag, or a support role or w/e that didn't really help really would like to see the 2022 roster of TL this is going to be good i heard that one guy from extra salt is suppose to be coming on as well as papa nitr0 aka captain america is coming back as well so tht'll be interesting for damn sure
shit man, i feel for grim. Dude looked like he was bouta cry regarding the comments stewie made
Sad to see stew go, hes so exciting and fun, hope team liquid becomes a winning team in the future, #LETSGOLIQUID
9:05 That's the fastest I've ever seen NAF move in real life lol
This was really well done
im gonna miss this roster :(
i think team liquid is the only team genuinely not afraid of failures, gg liquid u can do better this time
This just highlights the fact that sometimes talented players just don't gel into a cohesive unit.
Btw by censoring the hyperx headsets it only draws attention to them and not the other way around. It's called Streisand effect, really interesting
Waiting for next season. 🇧🇷
I wasn’t expecting that much drama.
This is the best lineup but suddenly, things happen. Wish the best the best of one of them. Looking forward on the new changes.

Man oh man, what crazy experiences these teams had, all te memories ups and downs...
Wish a bright future for Team Liquid cs.
and the best of luck to FalleN, Stewie2K, and Grim on their future carreer.
Stay safe, Stay strong 💪🙏
Looks like Grim wasn't provided enough support and then blamed for not being Nitro essentially.
Good edit though, not shying away from the "dirty laundry" and trying to repair the damage to Stewie, Fallen and Grim's reputations on the way out is a nice touch.
i was waiting for Twistzz. i mean, that guy made me in tears when he left, literally.
they didnt even notice him like bruh
Obrigado TL!
Hopefully the breakup of this version of Liquid will result in good rosters for EG (Stewie’s rumored team) and Complexity (Grim’s new team) and result in Liquid and NA as a whole becoming better.
I will say, your guys' media team is on a different level. No matter what type of video it's always such a great quality video.
team liquid never gives up this is why i love them all great 3 years
What a run it was..sometimes it’s good to move on
