FYI, saw off the 8.5" tires, remove the front fender, and grind off a few millimeters off the bottom lip underneath the rear fender and you can fit a 10" x 2.5" set of tires. Completely fixes the brake response, greatly improves the ride quality over rough terrain and makes the speedometer accurate. It legitimately will go 22mph with 10" tires.
@@DaBinChe It's not the width, it's the diameter, mine are 245mm and it lightly brushes against the base of the rear fender making an annoying buzzing sound. smaller than that, no problem. Either way the benefits of a taller sidewall for speed and increased cushioning are amazing. I no longer yearn for suspension even on gravel trails and bad pavement.
@@user-vq8yk1wc1u I was checking out the various 10" tires and saw the diameter mm range in the 245mm to 253mm. Ordered som 245. Tried to find some 9.5" but they were all knobby tires.
there is a S+ setting where it'll do 22mph instead of the 19mph of S mode..but if find the small size tires/wheels to be too sketchy for that speed even 19mph is sketchy when the pavement is not smooth
