My back light went out but the middle bar at the bottom of the back windows was still working. After review both my fuses which look good and not blown. I did replace them with new ones just incase but it did not work. It was only till I went out and bought 2 new bulbs and put them in and then it worked. Seems as though a lot of forums says that the electrical systems on these Sonata have bad wiring which shorts the bulbs all the time. I had upgrade both my back stop lights with LED lights so I can't tell if they went bad or not but after replacing them with normal bulbs again, it worked. If the brake bar at the bottom of your windshield in the back still works, most likely fault bulbs. Hope this help anyone who has the same issue.
having an issues with all lights this month. I replaced, head, brake lights, fog lights and license plate. all are working except the main tail light. It doesn't come on while driving but does come on when hitting the brakes. any idea what could be causing this issue?
@@ardacenr21 I just bought a replacement set of fog lights and set of wiring harness with bulbs for the tail lights. haven't installed yet. but a video I saw seems pretty simple.
How you doing guys. I have a 2013 Hyundai sonata limited. I need your help. Whenever i turn on the park light all 3 brake lights turn on and stays on. From your experience where would you suggest i start searching for the problem
I have requested help on my 2013 Hyundai sonata limited with parking and brake lights staying on. I successfully solved the problem. The 2 lower left and right brake lights sockets was not touching the bulb metal housing properly. So i raised the metal contacts inside the bulb sockets and the problem got solved. Hope this knowledge assist those who are having similar concerns
Hello I have Sonata yf 2014 (similar to that on the video). But the problem is that I can't find turn light relay. Seems like it knocks inside the fuse block. So It's weird but on the right side front turn light works but not that shiny as it should. And because of this the right side of my car when i turn on the light is blinking fast like the lamp is broken but it's not. What do you think about that?
I have an issue I am hoping to find and fix myself if anyone can help me please let me know thanks..... I have a 2016 hyundai sonata sport and out of nowhere my 4 outside brake lights do not work when I hit the pedal the taillights are working and the middle brake light in the rear window is working when I hit the pedal but the 2 on the trunk lid and 2 on the rear fenders do not brighten they only stay at running light brightness I'm leaning toward the brake lamp switch but confused as to why the center light still works and the others don't please if you know what this issue is let me know thank you
