What if it still stays on?? That's my issue right now. The oil place tried that way
While the car is off, press and hold the trip reset button (black stick on the odometer). Push the on button to start the car twice without your foot on the peddle. Release the trip reset button after the wrench light goes off.
Doesn't reset if it is the maintenance schedule that is due. Same procedure but reset the maintenance schedule.
I have the maintenance light on what would that mean? I always got light for oil or tire rotation.

I had to do it a couple times..........it kept saying reset failed.........but finally got it to reset..........i change my oil every 3000 miles..........oil is super black by that time.........69 bucks gets you 5qts of oil and a filter at the dealership..........easy DIY job at home..........car ramps work best to get the car up to work on.........transmission isn't that easy........but still doable.........just need a few more tools.........
Bro I paid $120 Cad to disable the maintenance warning light at Mazda dealership. If I saw this video 5 years ago I could have save time and money.

FUN FACT: IF U TURN ON YOUR SKYACTIVE ENGINE WITH NO OIL BY ACCIDENT. DONT BE SCARED THEY STRONG. IVE SEEN IT PEOPLE DO IT. Oh BTW change your oil every 5k. Not 7500k.. and even on cx-9. 7500K NO BUENO..
Definitely not.........i change at 3k and it's super black.........0w-20 oil is super thin..........i might even go 2.5k and check it..........

Nope, mine won’t reset on CX9. Took it for an oil change, and it came on after they were done. They spent 30 minutes not able to reset it. I really don’t want to go to the dealer!
