Absolutely one of my other Frankfurts favorite label. Great label by the always very friendly and sympathic Jens Maspful and his wive Silvia. And also not forget Mario de Bellis from Dortmund's No Respect records who did also a lot for Frankfurt Beat. They also organised great party's in the Köningsberg dancing in Krefeld with an after party at the Rheingold in Düsseldorf (Ruhr area) and in Frankfurt in the Music Hall like the 3 days during Energy Rave!!! Wish i could go back to that era..
My neighbor Was 5 years older and old enough to Join the Clubs in Frankfurt. He gave me everything on tape. I had the best time in my life with my tapedeck.
DJ Dag intro.... Fucking hell, we really did have the sweet back in the early to mid 90s... Loved my raving days.. Fucking loved every god damn minute of them!
Much respect for keepin the oldskool vinyl beats alive and bouncin here on the tube, I never get tired of listening the 90's was def the best era to be out clubbing. I can still throw my shapes about the best you ever did see when I'm on it! Big shout from feel the rush Portrush! Take a listen when you can to DJ Sci-The Darkside Johan. My favourite oldskool tape from back in the day circa 1996 lol
all these old anthems, this is ace. So many memorys flashing back, dancing in complete trance empowered by the magic vibes and powerful vibes of the electronic waves whilst the sweat on my forehead drops on the eyes and weat my cheeks. Completely taken by the enegies feeling free, elated and alive. The feet beating the ground, the arms swinging, floating in the air and the mind taken in an endless daydream of music and vibes. Smiling faces and happy dancers all around. What an ecstatic bliss. Unworried times of the young age. Thank you very much for the upload.
Frankfurt has some sickk vinyl Compilations and artists.. my friend and I rock a worn down frankfurt trax vol 3 a lot!! It's the best one out of about 200 good records nice and hard banger!!
thank you Johan, this mix is brilliant. I'll always love Brazilian Trancer because it was one of the first records I bought with the idea I might become a DJ. It was played on Sunset FM in Dublin all throughout late 93/early 94, I had to get it. One of the first really fast pumpin tunes that led me into the Frankfurt trance sound and fast German trance.
I was brought up in Germany for 26 years including the knowing of the fantastic era of all genres of german electronic music this includes Minimalistic, Hard Trance & Trance,i was well into Noom Rec( the same as Zoom Rec UK} great Trax Tres Chic, ,frankfurt Beat{one my favs Paragon ll"The Poets"},Low Spirit{Westbam),Tresor{Dj Motte},Superstition Rec(Oliver Lieb} ,one of the best Djs in the world co founder Sven Vaeth of Eye Q Rec,i knew his stuff well before his career as a Dj he was in a group called OFF{Electrica Salsa) in those days they called it Electronic Body Music(EBM),i saw him live in G Bar Liverpool & Tribal Gathering in 1997 those were the days!!! Try Tres Chic by Nexus 6 on Noom Rec what banger!!!
For all the Producers out there: One of the Main Secrets of the Classic Way is real Analog Gear. Today often Tracks sound steryl and you can hear that they try to make it sound alive with Plug Ins fail desperately. Here some Tips: 1.Use a Analog Summer and produce over that from the first Track. This Thing gives you the right Dimension to work in and will form your Sound as Alive because of its uncalculability and as well the little musical and wanted flaws who helps your Plug ins becominh alive.. Second: Use outboard gear and re-record Tracks. Use Hi, Band and Lo Pass Filter Analog. Use Pre Amps, Tube Pre Amps to give your Tracks Warmth. This all will also help you to find a deeper and more intimate Relationship with Sound in General. Furthermore you can buy a Analog Mixing Desk but be careful with Quality, some sound like Crap! 3. Get the Hell out of your fckin Chair!!! Stand, walk around, Dance. Therefore its good to have some Gear and Synths standing around in the Studio. You will produce different. Staring into a Screen makes you stiff and there is Danger for inner Boredom and Emptiness. Back in the Days they "had" to walk around. You "want" to. Check the Studio of Deadmau5. 4. Pray for divine Inspiration!!! Love and Peace!!! Last but not least! Dont just Copy, find "your" Way!!!
Ein Gefühl, dass die Musik einen noch tragen konnte. Leider vorbei. Das war noch Techno, nicht wie heute.
Introduction is gold. All the following tracks are gold...
