Mad Magazine - my collection as of Sept 2024

  • It's unlikely the collection will change much quickly, but here is a fairly detailed video of my Mad Magazines, where I go through 45 issues and 4 specials, and talk about the artists I really like.
    Some of the humour is dated, but that is inevitable with humour...I love it for the artwork more than the humour.

    These are wonderful, Gareth! Great collection. I think the satire in MAD has been brilliant through the ages!

    Great collection! I have a very small MAD collection, but I do have a couple large colored books (e.g., "MAD Goes to the Movies). I aways like Al Jaffe and Don Martin, etc ... Good one, Gareth 🎉

    It was fun seeing these issues of Mad Magazine - I had not realized that they published a separate UK edition. My own collection of _Mad_ consists of the American editions, dozens of issues covering the years 1966 to 1982. My earliest one features the spoof of the Batman TV show, September 1966 (“30 cents cheap”). 😀
