Thanks for this tutorial, it was easy to understand as a beginner. I did find I wasn't able to get that Stockhausen-like sound that you were getting even with the same settings you had. I don't think my inharmonic overtones seem to be doing anything.
Hello and thanks for the interesting videos on poly. How can you use many sinusoids instead of just one. Before there was [oscbank]. I would like to use many sine waves with detuning for each harmonic. thanks so much again
I followed the tutorial and this thing is amazing! Thank you so much for this! However, I have no idea what I'm doing, lol, or the logic behind it. I can't find anything that defines each object... I'm wondering if you have any good beginner recommendations
when your patch is unlocked, hold option/alt and click on an object and it will bring up the help file for that object, but in general get to know the max documentation, it's VERY good!
I have created a standalone App. in MAX-MSP, but now I can't enter Edit mode and therefore can't change anything. How do I enter edit mode from the presentation screen of a sub-patch??? I can't click on the background, because it is not visible in Presentation mode. Also toolbars are disabled. How can I send scripting commands to the sub-patcher to unlock the patch??? I have not found anything in the documentation. Please someone help!!!
I believe this surely give more freedom concerning each sinusoid. Even if I'm sure you can have this control with mc as well, like this it is much simpelr
Thank you so much for this!
As a beginner in synthesis, I found this clear, accessible and opens a lot of possibilities
Perfect walkthrough Gabriel, exactly what iv been looking for!
Great video, thanks for putting your time and effort into it!

The tutorials and help files that come with max are invaluable. There are lots of tutorials online as well. Good luck!

This is awesome, thank you! Is it then possible to plug max into a DAW and record it as midi?
Hello, I have an issue with creating this patch and I am wondering if you could help me resolve my issue?
Thanks!!
Why not just use the harmonic message to mc.cycle~? Would really condense the patch a lot.
