I've met two chihuahuas that weren't overly mean, loud, or aggressive. First belonged to a taxi driver. She was fluffy and quiet and friendly. She'd never bark, but would happily 'sing' along with her human. The second was my mom's chihuahua, Lady, who we rescued off the street. We reprimand her (gently, mind you) if she behaves in a mean or aggressive way, so she's not a violent dog. She's actualy quite sweet and loving, and only barks if someone gets near the door or the pigeons get to comfortable in the backyard. xD
My family has a small black dog named Tucker and he can be sweet at times (maybe a little too much), but a lot of the time he's a little jerk.
I have a Doberman puppy I like to call her Queen crackhead but her name is Luna
6:19 It wasn’t going for the person because that was at the Corkscrew Bird Sanctuary by Cabbage Lake on the northeastern side of the trail. It had gotten close to Big Mama and her fellow gators and nearly got snapped. It freaked out, lunged onto the boardwalk and ran down the length of it until it was by the grassy plain and took off into the brush. Whenever i’m in Florida I visit that area. You’ll find snakes who will casually cross your path, raccoons who will cross overhead, etc.
6:23 IIRC that cougar had cubs, and their nest was too close to the trail, so when the guy approached she went full mama mode. BTW, that guy did what you're supposed to do if a cougar charges you. Don't turn your back and run. Back away slowly, talking in a low and calm voice, until it decides you're not a threat.
As someone who knows a good bit about mountain lions (the dude who strangled one happened 15 minutes from me) most mountain lion attacks, statistically, are either young mountain lions who haven't learned fear, or humans (often children) who wind up alone and an easy target.

Casual Geographic mentions them a lot, but river otters have really bad tempers and will even rape and kill each other. Plus in cases like the giant river otter, they will travel in a gang and murk jaguars that even come near their territory. Definitely not wholesome past appearances, and even then look at a giant river otter eating. The wide, bloodshot eyes with blood on the teeth will probably change your mind to at least some extent lol
The don’t kill jaguars only small caimans
I never understood why people consider river otters cute. They’re not only aggressive but every image I’ve seen of their face looks like they’re saying, “And you’re next.”

I'm happy to be able to say I was blessed with a sweet applehead chihuahua. She's loud and nervous around everything, but she's incredibly friendly with everything except lawnmowers.
She's 15 this year and still the same as she was as a pup, just a little sleepier.

Used to have a chihuahua mix that we hat to put down a few months ago. We never did a test to find out what the other mix was but thankfully it made her calm. Worst she would do is bark a lot. Probably helped that she ended up being significantly bigger than the stereotypical chihuahua so the demon never came out.
I remember one of my great aunts had a Chihuahua we called Goblin and it acted like one too
My cousin’s roommate (also ex-girlfriend) has three long-haired chihuahuas. A mother and one pup from each of her two litters. The girls are the sweetest things but the boy is a perfect replica of his father and he is angry and afraid of EVERYTHING. He used to snuggle with me and always run directly to me to play when he was a pup and now he won’t even look at me without snapping. I don’t think it’s me he has a problem with but my cousin used to mess with him a lot so I think he associates us even though I’ve always been gentle with the little guy.

To be fair to the eagle, I think the sound we are used to hearing for eagles in TV could be more reminiscent of when they make that noise while flying. It kind of like when your voice gets distorted when speaking into a fan on high, you know what I mean? I can imagine that sound being belted consistently while they are doing their high speed dives, sounding much different than when they are just chirping it out sitting on a branch. Anyone else agree?
Fun fact when I was young me and my family visited the Calgary zoo and I saw the hippo shit fan in person i was too short to be hit but other people had dirty cameras and face .

I had a tarantula as a pet when I was a teenager, my Mom bought it at a reptile expo but after a few years, she gave it away because she no longer wanted to take care of it. It lived in a big tank that needed frequent cleaning, she hated cleaning it after a while and never let me help because she was scared it would bite me
Little did she know, you don’t even need to be within biting range to be attacked because Tarantulas have a ranged attack.

I hate chiuahuas too, mostly because i got attacked by one when i was a kid.
So the story is that, in february 2004, me and my family went to stay the a weekover at a farm owned by my father's grand-uncle (Rest In Peace) during the carnaval week, thanks to my family's religion we do not commemorate Carnaval, and one of my father's cousins brought his family too, his wife had brought her chiuahua.
First thing that vermin did was bark at me, for walking by it too close, keep in mind, this was also the first time i had ever seen a chiuahua, so i was pretty scared, since i was 10 years old at the time, so i run away.
fast foward a few hours and i'm keeping my distance,butit gets to bed time, so we spread a few mattreses around the living room and go to sleep, in the middle of the night i wake up to that fucking dog peeing on me, obviously i scream and startle it, which causes it to bite me and me to hit.
My father's cousin's wife gets mad at me and tries to scold me for hitting her dog, never seen my mother so angry at someone before, pretty sure that if my father's cousin didn't reel his wife's karen-ish behavior in, my mother would've been sent to jail, because i'm pretty sure she would've killed the bitch.
After that, i've never saw that woman or her dog again, but since then all chiuahuas have been classified as abominations in my mind.
