Chi-Ji is my favourite celestial. I mean, I'm a healer, so biased, but his words, both here and in-game, while cheesy to some, were personally inspiring.
When the people in my life couldn't see I was depressed (I didn't want to burden anyone with my issues, so I didn't tell them), hearing his praise and encouragement pulled me out of a _dark_ place.
***** that really ''Healed'' you alot, huh.
Yo I need a healer for my heroic raid
"But In his haste, the emperor stumbled..."
Well that's not so bad...
"Into the dense and untamed swamps of the Krasarang Wilds!"
...What.
This is actually really educational
They really researched Taoism well for these animations.
i feel like a kid hearing these stories, :D
So beautifully made! This art style is so gorgeous - gentle and fluid it is a painting that has come to life, living and breathing it walks among us.
Agreed. Cho is definitely one of my favorites. I love Mudmug, too. He's hilarious!
I hope they make more of these vids in WoD
I love this series. It gives me more insight to the new lore in an incredibly entertaining way
I think this and Lords of War are both great. Lords of War is very different, since it has different characters.
+John Canary I would be really happy if they did a mini-series for Legion. : )
+Tyranoman Judging from the Legion page, there will be something. An audio drama (0_0), a video series, and a digital comic. So, I think your desire will be sated.
+Tyranoman They do, it's called harbingers.
I can't wait.
Thank so much Blizzard for making these short movies!Have not felt that old ''chill'' for a while from you :)
And I want to watch this again! The narrator is just that good.
The watercolor art style of these is lovely. They'd make a wonderful children's book.
Best series EVER
I love this series, very amazing work
I love how you're making efforts to show you care about the story more, Blizzard, keep it up.
dat amazing, i feel like a child hearing this...
"...You are..." That look and that line together is all you need to see and hear to know this is epic and poetic.
Indeed. When he was YOUNG.
But when he was old, we helped him.
It is little things like this which make me pity anyone who feels Blizzard has lost its touch. Absolutely beautiful.
You're underestimating blizz. Remember that they are behind THOUSANDS of amazing stories in Warcraft alone, and even though they have gotten pretty successful in the past years, I'm pretty sure they still remember their roots.
Lorewalker Cho is such an amazing character. I can't get enough of his stories.
For the record, epic series so far.
I really, really hope that they add these in-game once the whole series is done. It would be great to be able to see each as an individual story.
More of this kind of story telling please. Though I don't care for the Alliance vs Horde specific in game stories (no way to possibly keep that balanced). This kind of story telling is what's needed.
I wish that was released as a lil' DVD in the Collector Edition.
these need to be longer but glad were getting them so quickly
"your friend is not lost, you are" Amazing!
These are fantastic so far. Adds great depth to what has become a surprisingly rich lore in this expansion. Bravo, Blizzard.
- From former a Pandaria sceptic.
this actually left a tear in my eye
We need longer episodes!
More like is escaping them, this new in depth lore for this expansion that was a bit dodgy in depth now has that rich sense of history behind it.
Actually, The Eredar and Draenei share more of a relationship than that. Eredar were a very proficient in magic, and lived on Argus. It was ruled by the three most powerful mages- Kil'Jaeden, Archimonde, and Velen. Eventually the Legion found interest in their planet, and offered them power- unprecedented by any race. K'J and Archimonde took this, greedily, and Velen had a vision of the future- one where the Eredar became demon. So, he moved his people elsewhere, and renamed them "Draenei."
These stories are making me fall in love with Pandaria all over again. Also makes me wish you guys had a more robust engine to build the game on.
sweet, I really like the way Pandaria turns out to be, thought it would be all bliss and happiness
More and longer episodes plez!
These are awesome, definitely want to see more of this.
i love these, makes it easier to teach my friends the shaohao lore :)
idk why ppl don't like this video i really like the story of shaohao to see how he fought the sha within himself and the massive burden he had to carry to protect his people and kingdom.
I would love to see more stuff like this.
Same here, wish he was my storyteller when I was a child.
a cool way to teach us lore :) better than ingame book /items keep doing it like this i want to see how the Emperors Journey finishes
These videos are so awesome.
See this is what other games lack, an amazing storyline!
That one felt short, but I still liked it!
How blizz managed to pull this much lore out of nowhere is incredible!
wow this story is great I can not wait for the next part this has left me wanting more ^^
I like how the sha while physical manifestation still look and feel to the listener as if it were just some monster we'd find in our fairy tails.
I love this series, the Lore for Pandaria is surprisingly good once you get past everyone hating on the pandas.
With each video, we see how his pride grows. Sadly, we know how this will end.
Make more of these!!
MOAR!
Dude the aimation i awsome! And its a part off it
Yes cause the wolves, the goats and the cow have an awesome WAR lore, a warcraft style art, and are cool both in lore and in-game.
I enjoy this series
These videos make playing my panda 10 times more epic.
He is undertaking a spiritual journey. Fate would not permit him guards.
Amazing as usual! Keep up the good work, Blizzard!
BEST bedtime story ever :)
I enjoy and love this serie so much :D
It would be good story to tell your kid before sleep
Whether you like the Pandaren or not, the lore is beyond fantastic.
Jaina Proudmoore for Warchief!
gachiBASS funny you mention that...
Four years later haha
5 years later Jaina became the leader of the burning legion
The pandaren are just too awesome, I dont understand why people struggle against it. The sha of pride sits in most of you I see.
We all can be victorious.
Exactly! and me and Archimonde were a very important part of the lore in TBC, so draenei makes sence, same with wrogen.
EverQuest NEXT baby, can't wait for it!!!!
I love this art style!
Below: same, don't see why people hate!! THE PANDARENS ARE EPIC
I like this...you can use this in the future for a kids tale :)
Please do the War of the Ancients, or some other story lines we haven't seen but read so much about! FOR GAMON!
i think this is a big introduction to a new expansion
Chen had a part in the founding of durotar, yes.
Still, it amazes me how advanced and peaceful the pandaren were back in those days. Just like the orcs and the demon blood, the elves were drunk with power and waging war with the Trolls who were just defending their land; all the while the pandaren were sitting back, relaxing and drinking to their hearts' content. I wonder is Shao hao will come and aid us in some way... I mean, he's still around, isn't he? the old seer quest?
Cool! This kinda reminds me of Sly Cooper when they would explain the bad guys background story or whatever.
Awesome! I'm really loving these. Great work, Blizzard.
Can't wait to see the sha of violence special...
I can't wait for the next one!
Great story
can't wait for everquest next!
When they get bored at Blizzard, they can make an RPG around Shaohao and his jurney through Pandaria. They should even keep that artstyle. it is beautiful.
Awesome Blizzard! We must have more. So help you if the Warcraft movie isn't as good as these short clips.
Maybe.. but he still may be tied to this world as long as the sha of pride is around...
we get new episodes daily? awesome!
I've plaid this game since vanilla, started whit warcraft ofc and ive enjoyed every single moment im on, i play the game for the content ofcourse but i really love the game cause of my friends that i play it whit! you should try to get some, might be hard for you... but it really makes every game so much better!
That is a fantastic idea.
Doubt is basically second-guessing yourself. Despair is more sadness or being in trouble.
More please :3
nice video
we want more
More!!! D:
Sooooooooo Good !!
Jim Cummings. Very ig Voice actor. For instance, hes best known for the role of Winnie - the - Pooh / Tigger, along with Pete from Micky Mouse cartoons, He voices Shang Tsung once from mortal combat, among hundreds of films, cartoons, games an what not. List goes on.
oh, draenei do have some lore of their own and it's pleasant enough. pandaren just need way more attention and detail because so many people hate on them and keep complaining how there's no point in pandaren.
Absolutely in a good way.
I already know of the lore, thanks anyway tho for typeing it all out for me and for the other guy to read. Once again i typed it out in a way the other guy can understand.
brilliant!
true wow had pandas in mind long be4 all other movies and games
ARTAAAAAX - fight against the sadness. You have to try...
Then what about Anger, Hatred and Violence? How do I distinguish between those three?
I dig the Sha lore, but there's N'Zoth, the third old god. He was only hinted at in Cata but its implied that he has a lot to do with everything. We fought and repelled Kil'Jaeden but didn't really defeat him so he's out there too. There's whatever Wrathion wants to prepare everyone for as well and it could have to do with any of the above.
There's a lot of people that say that now that Arthas has been defeated that there's nothing left, but that's actually far from the truth.
Pride is going to be interesting.
These are great :)
Ohhhh shit Never ending story up in here.
