@@BlueHippoMoto to be honest, it's my first. 30 years of motorcycling , always analogue. The display is fine. But, as i said in bright daylight, sun from behind, it is not bright enough. Or the should do more anti-reflectiv.
I have this moto and i like it i got GPR exhaust for it and now its even better but the bigest issue for me is quick fun blowwing when stationary but you cant have it all
6:16 "There are issues with the MT 650, but that's for another time"??? Shouldn't they be included in a video deciding whether to buy or not? What issues are you talking about? Minor stuff due to personal taste, or mechanical issues people need to know before buying? Thanks
You never know the issues you might come across till you ride a bike for more than an hour. New video going up which will explain more about how I feel about this bike and the issues I have encountered.
Hi! What about the engine heat? I can see from other videos the cooling fan is very noisy and it starts quite often. Do you feel any discomfort by the engine heat? Is the chain quality so poor and it needs adjustments every 500 km (as another owner states). And the 1 mil$ question: Would you buy it again?
The engine heat is no worse than other motorcycles it’s just pushed out one side more than both. Very pleasant in the cold of winter/ spring. The engine is not designed to run without the fan assisting cooling so does run not really noisy or noticeable. Had no issues with chain , guess it depends on how vicious you accelerate. Would I buy another CFMOTO yes, I’d probably by a GT if I had the money right now rather than the MT , but that’s for a different reason
I cannot confirm the exact model engine this bike came from , it is however a Kawasaki 650cc twin made under license. If that’s the Verys or ER6N I couldn’t say as I have never had either apart.
about to buy mine with front crash bars and like yours i have asked for hand guards to help keep the hands warm and add to the LOOK of the mt.
The hand guards are from barkbusters on mine , crash bars would of been nice. Hope you enjoy the motorcycle 😊
Love the dash on the bike! wish my 08 R1 was digital LOL
Much love from Kentucky!
Stay safe!
It’s one of the nice things about the bikes design , something to be said for analog gauges tho
@BlueHippoMoto true. They both have their pros and cons I suppose. Great looking bike for sure!
Dash is clear and sharp. But horrible when the sun shines directly on to it.
@robertrastlos4512 agreed but I haven’t found a digital device that’s much better have you ?

It’s not been hot enough to keep me right knee warm , with this cold weather we have been having.
Right?!
The 800MT is right there and amazing value.
The 800MT is great value, but the 650 is half the price so which is better value, I couldn’t say.

@@BlueHippoMoto I appreciate your answer! 98% I am about to get one. Still doing some research on the market :). Enjoy the ride!
Great bike for a single rider, I needed more carrying capacity ;-[
How much were you carrying?
Me and the wife +gear+Luggage , think we would need atleast 190-200kg@@BlueHippoMoto
Having had the wife on mine with topbox and back pad it’s quite a tight space. So plus all luggage I get your point
hi blue hippo moto i plan to buy a mt 650 adventura correct me if im wrong the engine of your bike is a a identical copy of license of er6n

Just seen this at the bike show and debating weather to get one. Does the tft screen have sat nav
I would imagine you saw the 700cc updated version but yes the 650mt does have satellite navigation, runs from app on your phone.
@@BlueHippoMoto they had the 650 and the 700 👍
@user-dt8fc9el2d oh wow nice to know.
Does the frame allow for a centre stand to be fitted ?
There is a centre stand available for this motorcycle from a 3rd party retailer, plenty of people have fitted it successfully.
Hi, where did you get the instrument display surround?
A friend 3d printed it , there are freely available designs if you look at the facebook forums
@@BlueHippoMoto thanks. I thought Aliexpress would sell them but not apparently for the 650MT.
Some people have modified the one for the 800 MT by shortening it I believe
@@BlueHippoMoto good to know thanks.
