It has happened before and happening again, it’s a waiting game for sure. I see this in building supplies they are sky high for the stuff you can get and a lot is not available. Here’s an example went down to Tractor Supply for some welding supplies and only had 2 cans of a product I use and it’s $11 a can so look on Amazon oh sure they had it but for $39 a can!!! It’s all about price gouging! This shall all pass in time a least I hope so, take care Dave I owe a call soon.
same as with oil ,houses ,gas ,coffeebeans etc ,i shoot airguns like the pcp .during the corona period ,no powder primer or ammo needed ,the bigger airgun jou can cast the slugs bullets easy .even the pellets can be home made
I am amazed at the number of new reloaders that very clearly do not read or do not have a published manual. Similarly, apparently the equipment manufacturers have colluded with The Russian and stopped furnishing manuals, instruction videos, and PDF instruction downloads. So, my prediction is when ranges open guns will be blowing up left & right. When ammunition comes back to being availability many New reloaders will decide to buy 10k in bulk 9mm and sell their gear. So picking up some very gently used gear in late 2021 or 2022 will be had by many of us. My shooting demand is very small as in 200 per week, 10,000 per year. So an hour on a turret I can make my need. But I am thinking a gently used made in 2020 550c is in my future.
I agree I’m just made because I just picked up a few guns one of which is my second revolver. I have to say even in this craziness I paid a decent amount. A easily 95% condition Ruger Security six pre warning banner gun in 357mag for 475. But now I can’t enjoy it because trying to find 357 or 38 is next to impossible. When just 9 months ago people couldn’t get rid of 357 or 38 it just irritates me. And yes I’ll definitely be waiting for these prices to drop. Also I WILL NOT GET CAUGHT in this Ammo predicament again. Reloading is about to be a real thing for me I’m gonna dedicate myself to it. No more guns till my reloading set up is in 100% order
Good vid, especially funny when you mention the light on your message machine, LOL sorry but I'm just wiping the tears from my cheeks right now from laughing so hard, haven't had an answering machine for many many years now, time warp. Thanks, Mike
About 5 months ago I bought 5,000 bulk pack of Fort Smith Large Pistol primers for $150 at FedArm.com. I have always bought in bulk 5k at a time. Today they want $500 for the same bulk pack. I really don't appreciate that kind of price gouging. I don't know if I can mention a site name here but I wanted to show that these types of vendors should not be rewarded.
That’s capitalism , increasing capital , for better or for worse. Supply and demand. People who control the supply are in charge. So who is manufacturing this "shortage” ? The ammo manufacturers? Capitalism bro , creating personal capital.
Dave - nice video..!! Happy New Year and a fine, safe and healthy 2021to you, Steve
So glad to see you show up in my notification tab. God bless you my friend. I wish you the very best :-)
Great video - unfortunately we see it happen every 4 years! It was 22 and powder last time, now it's primers this time.

I'm thinking airguns.

I know it’s generally not good to do this .... but..... maybe you could do a exploration video on small rifle primers in pistol cartridges
what's also unavailable, is powder. the best answer I got was from my local gunsmith who said, there's none available on this planet! LOL
Like Brokeloaded I only buy on sale.

Yep. Very limited range shooting here too.
God Bless President Trump. Trump 2020.
