I have this player and it sometimes has problems playing 4k discs. What I dislike about the player is the main menu screen as it is bright white and I am sure that it has burnt my TV screen. Changing to different brand.
Just bought one yesterday, watched a couple of movies. Went to turn it on today and it is just turning on and off like a continuous loop of showing the LG Brand screen and then goes black, then the LG Brand logo shows again and then black screen, does not stop doing this. Power indicator light is continuously blinking. Does this issue have anything to do with not connecting it to the internet and updating on the initial launch?
4k discs look good but the blu ray and std dvds honestly look like burned copies and i have tried configuring many ways it just looks bad(especially up close), my cheap blu ray player looks so much better
I think i'm gonna change my standard blu ray Sony (BDP-S700) for this one! My sony is slow, the app youtube says everytime the memory is full... that's crap! I don't have any dvd 4k and 3D, but hey, what the hell, this product seem a little higher in quality than my sony !
@Ken88 But things should also sound natural and detailed. and it's actually music that basically every single movie that exists. Do you have cheap or expensive speakers

That's why I don't like streaming from online of my own 4k movies as they use what looks like letterbox. I like a full screen.

standard in the cinema and blu-ray is 24HZ. appears only when the data on the disc says that it is 24 Hz otherwise it will be 50 or 60
if you want the picture to be shown as a commercial cinema, select 24HZ
