This is a great tool and breakdown of what we can and cannot control. I've also seen it broken down into 2 circles overlapping. The two control realms are on the outside and the "influence" realm is in the middle, where the circles overlap.
I can’t share the image in the comments but, I tried this excessive for my issue ‘emotional trigger/ state of mind/ panic.’ It was a great practice & I learnt from this that what I can’t control is the event or thing that causes the trigger but, I can control my response & reaction. I can pause and breathe. I can stop & think positive. I can take a break & remove myself from the trigger.
That is incredible and helpful.if it is possible ,this exercise backed up by reaserch could you share one noticable literature .i would like to dig deeper.thanks in advance
Hello Julia, With regard to the first chart, are you talking about older adults dealing with their grown-up children? In my case, I was dealing since childhood with parents who emotionally never became actual adults. They were "parentifying" me, or in other words, reversing the roles of parents and children. Of course, as a child and adolescent, I was unable to comprehend what was actually going on. Neither were my parents able to, for they remained in an emotional child-state their entire lives. Thank you, Julia 🙂.
The way the transit company I work for handles discipline after an accident rather it's our fault or the other driver. They 🤬 throw us under the same bus we drive. 😫😭
trusting this over the ebook Magnetic Aura by Takeshi Mizuki? no wonder the same cycles keep happening
