Still crazy to look back at the very video that taught me how to customize and know you’re no longer here. Thanks for everything Glenn, you’re a true innovator and missed beyond belief!! Rest peacefully my friend 🙏🏽🙏🏽
We miss you glenn, I wish I was customizing and collecting wrestling when you was here. You are still guiding me on My toy quest from heaven. Thank you R.I.P
as someone who is interested in making custom figures (with some recipes currently on the way to my house), this is quite a helpful start on part swapping. thanks so much Glenn!
Glenn! You helped me save my stormtrooper! I'm so happy and thankful. Really thankful that you put this video up. I recieved a Star Wars Black Series Sandtrooper for Christmas, and love it. The only problem was that his knee joint was not connected to his thigh correctly because the pin was falling out on one side. It was either I return it, or fix it. This video showed me exactly how to fix it! I just heated up the knee, tinkered around with the pin to get it to fit, clamped it on with the plyers, and boom, his knee was now FIXED! And I have been playing with the Sandtrooper all day. Thanks!
I also had the same knee problem with my Thor movie action figure from the 3 3/4 inch line. I do have another Thor figure where the arm wasn't connected because of bad manufacturing so I had to open up the hole with a L-Shaped Hex Wrench where the arms insert into the torso and I got the shoulder peg to go inside.
Dear Glenn, I was such a fan of yours and your work. You brought a burst of comedy and positivity to the action figure community that is still unmatched today. The hole left from your passing cannot ever be filled. I am following this video to make a custom sarge from sarge's heroes and it's coming along swimmingly. I know you're reading these comment from heaven. As you would say, Mmmmmmmmm bye.
Thanks. My new laptop is now almost a year old and relatively unscathed. Unlike its predecessor I've made a conscious effort not to let this one get too up, close and personal with my customizing
Haha thanks. I have no idea how the warrior did those promos. Some of them were like 5 minutes. I shouted two sentences and it really hurt and I went light headed!
I'm about to do some custom work as well switching a Harley Race head onto a Bobby The brain Heenan body to reunite him with Vader as his manager. This is absolutely superb work so keep it up; pretty cool.
+Glenn Webb hey glenn what colors did you mix to get the ultimate warrior's trunks (I'm doing the same custom) I've trying a lot of mixing but i can't find it'll be great if you can help thank you.
This was the first video I ever watched from him. I never really followed him and watched all his videos but from the ones that I did see, he was a RUclips great. #ripglennwebb
True. With the knee pad on wrestling figures its not like you can make use of the double jointed knees in posing. I'm more interested in finding some feet that could match so he gains an ankle pivot
Consider it seen! I try to read as many comments as I can as I really appreciate it when people take the time to watch my videos and comment. So thank you good sir!
Thanks. That's Elf Flesh but Games Workshop have renamed all their paints since so it goes by a different name. Can't remember the new name but their website has a conversion chart
Wow! It worked! I was so excited that I understood your tutorial! And I can put the wrestler's parts back together too. Now I can customize any figure I want! Thx
Wow that price is outrageous! Primer is like an undercoat you apply before you paint. Personally I don't use it. Nulin Oil is a wash that you brush on and it sinks into the recesses creating visual depth. I'll try to do a painting tutorial at some point
Hi. How do u get the paint to go on so smoothly? I made a couple of custom mattel hogans and they look good apart from streaky brush lines in the paint job. Any suggestions much appreciated :-)
Hey Glenn, couldn't find in your comments below if you already answered this question: which combination of paints did you use to come up with that green for his trunks? All I have left to do is paint them on mine. Many thanks in advance!
Hello again Glenn, just ran across some tutorials on mixing Citadel paints and a recipe that may work for his trunks is by mixing Enchanted Blue with Sunburst Yellow. Would you say that works? Curious to know which paints you mixed to come up with the green for you Warrior's trunks. Thanks!
Sand away with sandpaper. Some people use nail polis remover though. I mixed a green paint with a little yellow and white. You'll need to experiment though as it's not an exact science.
Glenn Webb Also would you reccomend using that flesh colored citadel paint to match a jakks skin tone to a mattel? (specificly the hogan r3 which has the light skin tone and not the tanned)
I won it really cheap on ebay and plan on using the head for a Drax custom when more footage of Batsita as Drax from the Guardians of the Galaxy movie emerges
Still crazy to look back at the very video that taught me how to customize and know you’re no longer here. Thanks for everything Glenn, you’re a true innovator and missed beyond belief!! Rest peacefully my friend 🙏🏽🙏🏽

Thanks Glenn It helped alot. May you rest in peace great man
This is a classic video RIP Glenn
Haha thanks. I have no idea how the warrior did those promos. Some of them were like 5 minutes. I shouted two sentences and it really hurt and I went light headed!
No worries. Good luck with your project
Hey Glenn you should make a custom elite Boogeyman.
Azis Ayala Cuevas I've though about it but taking a break from customizing for a little bit
Glenn Webb oh Glenn make a Eddie Guerrero custom from when he was in wcw in the american gear please
Glenn Webb glenn i was wondring if you could plz do it can you turn a elite kane that comes with mask to a elite corprate kane
Westillidie He died.
+Rogue Trooper he posted that before he died numnuts
One of the first video I watched from Glenn.. RIP to both Glenn and the Ultimate Warrior!

Cool. Glad to help. What was the custom?
Can you make an elite Matt Hardy plz
Mattel already made one
Great! Glad to help and thank you for watching!
NIce work. thanks for sharing your techniques.
He's dead.
Rest in Piece Glenn, Ultimate Warrior & Toys "R" Us.
DO I NEED ANY PANT FOR CUSTONMIZING STONE COLD AND ULTAMENTE WORIOR
Brandon Freeman you shouldn't pant while making custom figs
Brandon Freeman He is dead.
I still periodically come back and watch this video like every month
Does It Work With JAKKS Too?
MGProps FX Yep
Thx!
You might be able ti switch out the Batista boots for the Warrior ones at the point where they rotate. I've not tried it though
They’re both together in heaven now RIP
Yeah one of the products is called Hydroshrink. I've never tried it so I'm not really the one to do a tutorial on it
dude that's awesome well done
Thanks!
no worries :) iv subbed please sub back
This was the first video I ever watched from him. I never really followed him and watched all his videos but from the ones that I did see, he was a RUclips great. #ripglennwebb
RIP DUDE
Yes I will. Currently working on one which will be up in a couple of weeks so stay tuned for that!
That Batista costs 200$
lol yeah right. thats why i bought it for $5 on ebay
Glenn Webb nice, on amazon he is still a 200$
Tom Bekhor Just because somebody lists a figure for a crazy amount doesn't mean it's worth that amount
Glenn Webb I know, but still
still what? i customized a $5 figure. chill
I've never seen someone make this look so easy
Thank you
Water is easier
Thanks! Full credit to the Warrior with his promos. I learnt making this video that it's so hard to shout-talk
True. With the knee pad on wrestling figures its not like you can make use of the double jointed knees in posing. I'm more interested in finding some feet that could match so he gains an ankle pivot
You're still my hero Glenn, you're my hero
Thanks! You mean the flashback attitude era masked kane figure?
Thanks. Tried to make it a mix of the both so glad you think so
Thanks for being concise and apt when I couldn't be
The very first and best Glenn Webb video I watched!!!
#R.I.P Glenn Webb!
Great job. Very cool inside look at customizing. I love seeing customizers work benches.
Yeah and with the kneepads it's not like you can really take advantage of the double jointed knees as they limit some of the articulation
Thanks, I'm glad. Stay tuned for a new sculpting tutorial coming soon
First Glenn Webb Video I’ve seen RIP(Rest In Power) Glenn Webb!
Haha true that. Do you remember the old Jakks Deluxe Aggression figures? Some of those had knee pads that were like 4 inches long!
I know this comment won't be seen, but after watching a couple dozen of your videos, I've become a fan. You rock Glenn.
Sorry I can;t really think of any suggestion but I think as long as you get the costume and hair right it'll be easier to overloon an exact likeness
Can be swapped the same way the elbows can. I just didn't as with the knee pads it's hard to take advantage of the double jointed knee anyway
Can you use these to customize Marvel Legends, GiJoe and Heman action figures?
He can't answer dude, he's literally dead
Still my go to for tutorials and one of the only vids that shows paint types so we can try them ourselves
still can't believe he just passed away it's so weird I didn't know him but kinda felt like I did , such a distinctive voice also
1st Glenn Webb vid I have seen
The clay sets on its own. The paint is somewhat durable but to stop it scratching completely you can use a sealer or other coating
A steady hand and nerves of steel!
I miss him
I painted the logo on with a very fine paint brush and a steady hand
even when he's gone glenn is super helpful.
Thanks very much for getting back to me, i really appreciate it, time so sculpt a mullet!
Wow! It worked! I was so excited that I understood your tutorial!
And I can put the wrestler's parts back together too.
Now I can customize any figure I want!
Thx
thanks so much for the help i never knew what paint to buy because it would come right off my figures keep up the good work your customs are awesome
No worries. Thank you for watching
Had planned those but not not got past the planning stage
Each to their own but why do you think its better?
Wow that price is outrageous! Primer is like an undercoat you apply before you paint. Personally I don't use it. Nulin Oil is a wash that you brush on and it sinks into the recesses creating visual depth. I'll try to do a painting tutorial at some point
Yeah Milliput sell quite a few varieties. I use the one I use for no reason other than its the cheapest
Cool custom Glenn. I own a lot of citadel paint and it looks great but chips of so easily. Can you tell me the name of the sealer you use is?
I think it's called testors. It comes in an spray can. I get it on ebay
Incredibly helpful and easy to follow. I have customs I've been planning on making and this will help immensely. Thank you and I subbed!
Hi. How do u get the paint to go on so smoothly? I made a couple of custom mattel hogans and they look good apart from streaky brush lines in the paint job. Any suggestions much appreciated :-)
Use paints specifically for miniatures and use fine hair brushes
Before painting, do you add a primer coat or no?
No
Hey Glenn, couldn't find in your comments below if you already answered this question: which combination of paints did you use to come up with that green for his trunks? All I have left to do is paint them on mine. Many thanks in advance!
Hello again Glenn, just ran across some tutorials on mixing Citadel paints and a recipe that may work for his trunks is by mixing Enchanted Blue with Sunburst Yellow. Would you say that works? Curious to know which paints you mixed to come up with the green for you Warrior's trunks. Thanks!
glenn webb has passed away 😔
You make it look so easy Glenn! Thanks for the tutorial, hopefully I'll try make a decent custom instead of wrecking a figure for once!
This is the best video you've done. Period.
I've heard people crack open the torsos but I've never tried it nor know how to do it
Nice stuff.. Do you know if DELUXE AGGRESSION version of Batista boots are removable? I'm making a custom figure using his body.. Thanks!
Not sure I can't remember if the boots are a separate part or if the legs are all on epiece below the knee
How many coats do you do on the figures?
Sand away with sandpaper. Some people use nail polis remover though. I mixed a green paint with a little yellow and white. You'll need to experiment though as it's not an exact science.
whats the sand paper you used? do you not use nail varnesh remover to get rid of tats? this seemed to work well for me when removing a CM Punk beard
Just a fine sandpaper. You can use nail varnish remover. I just use sandpaper as I have it to hand for sanding joints to prevent paint rub
Glenn Webb Also would you reccomend using that flesh colored citadel paint to match a jakks skin tone to a mattel? (specificly the hogan r3 which has the light skin tone and not the tanned)
Maybe. Buy some other paints too in case you need to lighten or darken it. It's rare you match a figure's skin tone straight out of the pot
This video deserves an award.
U can also use hot boling hot water to remove figure parts
Do you cover your paint or seal it or something to finish it off or do you just leave it?
Sometimes I use a spray sealer
Glenn Webb does the spray affect the rest of the figure? would i need to cover the parts iv not painted?
Shouldn't do. But if you have an old figure you don't care about test it on that first
Ok thanks for replying :)
I've also see videos where figures are dipped in hot water to loosen the joints. How do you think this compares to using a blow dryer?
I prefer this as you can concentrate the heat much more on a specific area without risking third degree burns from boiling water
Rip to this legend
Hey glenn for my custom I used TRU exlcusive triple h.what made u use batisa
I won it really cheap on ebay and plan on using the head for a Drax custom when more footage of Batsita as Drax from the Guardians of the Galaxy movie emerges
Awesome!! But i can't understood what king of paint is that you use to make the custom figure
Hey glenn do you know how to make paint not rub off whenever you would do a move with that figure?
