I am so glad we all got to see the gentle giant here at Vancouver. Last visit of the type was 30 years with the President Bill Clinton visit to our city. Yesterday she was bringing in aero engines for maintenance work.
Talk about a thrilling surprise. You're sitting at an airport looking out the windows while waiting on your flight and you witness one of these land or takeoff. Totally awesome
Watched Live last night.. Brilliant
Truly spectacular! What a catch and an awesome moment to watch on the live.
Omg and now the departure!!!! We are so lucky to have you Henry! 🇨🇦❤️
Thank you Susie it my honour to be working with the Airliners Live team. They are mega professionals. May this be a great journey in the months ahead!
Awesome. I remember sheltering from the rain at an Airshow in England back in the 70's. There were hundreds of us piled inside the Galaxy, taking shelter from the downpour.
It is an aluminum overcast after all!
Brilliant moment 👏 absolutely awe inspiring. You guys are fab ✈🇬🇧👍
Really cool how that landing gear turns before retraction, never seen that before.🤩
Its lovely to see!
The wobbling wheel bogies are a treat!
Oh wow...that's one big boi😀😀thanks for sharing
Such an amazing thing to see. I don’t why I’m so obsessed with watching airplanes land and take off but yet I hate flying on them.
Not a bad week at all for you lads, epic second show in Canada 👌 and 50k 👏 all your hard work and dedication is paying off sit back and enjoy 🤘 quality have a good weekend 👍
Thank you Jack for your kind comments and support. Glad you enjoyed the show!
Cheers Jack it certainly has been a great week!
Jaysus that’s a BEAST! Look at all them wheels! lol
And it will probably be around 40 years from now .. in service.
The snowy mountains in the background is a great complement to the awesome C5. Thank you for the vlog.
1 of the best preforming, best looking birds ever!❤
Hats off to Henry and Canada 🇨🇦 👏 for capturing this and to the US military, awesome plane

Short take-off 😍😍 take it easy 👍
Beautiful!
Amazing 👏
Beautiful video! Great camera work.
Our 3 months of practice work was well worth it … lots of efforts by all of us at Airliners Live.
That big beast gets in then gets out no playing around.
Great video, love it!
Thanks so much Gary
Wow wow wow what a beast. Cheers Henry.
Such a short amount of runway needed for such a big boi to take off.
Awesome guys, and grand finally to a fantastic Vancouver stream from airlinerslive, best way to spend a Thursday evening for sure 😀
Thank you for your support Ian! See you next week here in Vancouver at the show.
Beautiful n stunning video thank you 😊
This C5 is statu9ned at Westover AFRB in Chicopee, MA. Near my home town!
Awsome
me "wow, look at the size of that beast".
wife "it has no windows.I would not want to travel on a plane with no windows".
@@EleanorPeterson 😂😂👍
And the 50k subs WOW
🎉
Must have been fairly light, he got off in a pretty short T O run.
I know right. Said the same thing. I’d expect a plane this size would’ve gone way longer on the takeoff. It’s simply amazing though. Isn’t it?
Indeed .. it was like a STOL Twin Otter or Dash-7 takeoff!
Impressive 😍
Man I missed the old sound of C-5 engines
wow !
Wow just wow! and how the landing gear went up after take off 😲
I love the wobbling gears … strange configuration.
Came out in 1969 and they still keep flying.
I'm I going nuts or does that beast have two APUs? Beautiful camera work by the way
This is a C5M, not a C5, you can tell by the engine sound at take off. It does not have the loud, high pitch growl when taking off.
I agree cuz C5As and C5Bs are the top loudest but C5Ms are like Passenger Engine sound
TAKEOFF EH !!!
NO WAY! IT HAS THE PATRIOTS LOGO ON IT!
Why do we call them runways when obviously no one is running?
