- morning! a cosy Christmas vlog at home and preparing to host christmas, a food shop, baking cookies, countryside walks and hot chocolates. love you xx
recipe for pasta 🍝
ingredients for one person:
pasta
broccoli
spinach
1/2 bulb of fennel
1/2 onion
3 cloves garlic
1 tsp celery salt
1/2 veg stock cube
black pepper
method 💌
1. cook pasta or gnocchi and put to one side
2. lots of olive oil, sauté fennel, onion and garlic until brown
3. once soft add in chickpeas and broccoli with pepper, celery salt
4. add in a cup of water and veg stock, cook for 5 minutes
5. add pasta back in, add spinach and serve with plant based parmesan

I woke up at 5am yesterday to clear the clutter out of my apartment as i recently had my new kitchen fitted. It’s 1.26am. I’ve lit my candle and finally climb into bed to watch this vlog. Happy days. Smiles from London. ❤

Upon further reflection, I would like to formally request a Roo Day in the Life vlog. It could be shorter, and still narrated by Hannah, but focused from her perspective.
From the sweetness of Roo, to the quaint little area of Tatton Park (that I now want to see in person!) and your recipe that looks delicious, this was such a perfect vlog to watch the week before Christmas! Relaxing, encouraging and a reminder to get outside every day! Thank you for sharing your cosy life.
My yorkie Teddy is exactly the same. I have to trick him into coming down into the kitchen to get his harness and lead etc on for a walk. Once he's out he loves his walks. Crazy the things they do 😂 he also acts so much like Roo, especially the 'shouting' at neighbours and birds 😂 so small but so feisty!

Hannah, one of my dogs does the exact same thing, he hides when we are getting ready to go for our walk, something we do everyday that he absolutely loves, but he hates putting the harness on. So strange because he acts like he’s about to go to the vet or something when he knows what we’re doing. Poor little Roo, she is so sweet. Hated seeing her so hesitant about her walk. 😢❤

Also I’m not sure if you’re vegan with clothing as well, wanted to note that cashmere is wool from goats just in case you or other vegans here in the comments weren’t aware! It’s super hard to avoid in winter sweaters though if you want something made with natural/sustainable fibers 🥲

A tip for your teeth - I drink an awful lot of coffee and it never ever stains my teeth. What you need to do is always have a glass of water with your tea…. Drink the tea and then swill your mouth/teeth with a sip of water. Tea only stains teeth when it sits on your teeth. My teeth have been pearly white for years 😁
You are so right. I'm a tea drinker and my dentist once mentioned that after I drink my cup(s) of tea/coffee, to rinse with warm water, swishing back and fourth for a few seconds.

Feels like watching and listening to a friend talk :) I really hope you and Kenny can stay in your beautiful Victorian home (you told earlier that it might be your last Christmas there and that considering the news you can't share with us yet I think I know what that means..). Hope you're getting through it together! If I could give one tip by the way that would make your content (in my opinion) even better than it already is: I think it would make it even more personal if you made more 'eyecontact' with the camera! I think you might be looking at yourself next to the camera (which I completely understand and always do in a Teams meeting), but just something to maybe think about :) Anyway, wishing you a lovely Christmas with your family and a happy new year 🎀🎄❤
