National Geographic (via Disney+ channel) has a trilogy of amazing archaeological overviews "Ancient China From Above". The show uses drone technology and LIDAR scanners (etc) to recreate what the places would have looked like back in the day. Also the story of the Great Wall of China is even more amazing than you realised!

though the trade network known as the "Silk Road' existed from the 2nd century BCE - I've heard that name wasn't coined until the late 19th century (Seidenstrasse). I've tried wording searches several ways but can't find any information on, - 'What, if any, name did the ancients have for the trade network now called the Silk Road?'

Very cool! A small note from a sort-of Mandarin speaker, but "e" is often said like "uh". So "jiaohe" would be said more like "jiao-huh". Weird, right? It took me a long time to get used to!
Regardless, this looks like a really cool place!

Educational and entertaining as always, Raven! But where's the swea...Oh. You know...see through shoulders on a sweater pretty much defeats the purpose of a sweater. Just saying. ;)

I’m running out of options! We’re now getting to the bottom of the sweater pile, but I think I’m gonna make it!

@@DigItWithRaven I really like the festive one you've had for ten years! So if you fall short...like if you loan a sweater to a cold friend...reuse that one!

It’s very difficult to comb curly hair that has a mind of its own 😂
