That looks really good, your large collection of chisels is a huge asset when doing a job like this, to have a gouge with the correct radius makes things so much easier to get right, it is always a fiddly job getting the patchbox lid working smoothly again when you radius the hinge, but it will work loose over the next hundred years !
Some chisles are old from my grandpa and the rest is from PFEIL switzerland. When the rifle is done, I will use it often so I dont have to wait one century :-))
Für solche Arbeiten eignet sich ganz besonders eine Juwelier-Handsäge! Kostet ein paar Euro auf eBay bzw. aus China. Da gibts auch Sägeblätter zum Schneiden von Stahl! 👍 = es gibt nichts mehr zu sagen! Alles perfekt!
